The Cannon crafting paradox

Hello fellow pirates!
We all know that Seafight not only loves to make our life impossible but apparently they are into mind games as well, recently they are selling us cannon recipes that you can never craft without the specific crafting materials.I can understand doomhammers recipes and you can craft them with the same crafting materials as firestorms, but Devastators and painbringers what's the point?
Am I missing smth or the only way to get materials for crafting them is by actually "uncrafting" them?
Hopefully they have thought this through and planed to give them in the future as rewards for the completion of lvl 100 pirate test or maybe to buy it for billions of some coins that you can't find anywhere.

 

i guess in the next few years these materials will be available so you can craft them at this time (ofcaurse at this time you will not want to craft them at all cause the new cannons will be much quicker and stronger )

 

I still have all of the initial Voodoo recipes as there is one required material (small wood pieces), that I can see no way of obtaining. Disassembling all of my 60's, 55's, 50's did not gain any of them. I think they were listed as a small chance from the 60's, but so small I got zero of them.

Through the recent voucher, I recently got the Paingiver recipes, but as the OP mentions, without the crafting material, they are useless.

 

i think that admiral gave in the past this item, but now is not available to craft and destroy them.

 

Yes all those receipts (except the new worldbreaker) are totally useless as the materials are impossible to get.

 

Its a trap mate... Just to get our hopes up that we're receiving cannons. Soon crafting material packages will be out. We will be forced to buy them so that our previous purchases containing recipe won't go to waste.

 

As this is not a discussion thread and the initial post was more of a commentary than a question I will close now
