The Great Turtle War​

The event starts at Thursday, 4th May at 12:00 noon and ends Wednesday, 17th May at 12:00 noon.

All times are local server times.

The “The Great Turtle War” event features following:

• Base event: 4 event ships and of course Cassiopeia
• NEW Guild vs Guild Group map: “Shell Shock”
• 3 NEW Badges – awarded to the top 3 guilds for the “Turtle Madness” ranking
• Group map: “Den of the Turtle”
• Group map: “Jurassic Pool”
• “Guild map”: “Cassiopeia Chaos”
• 5 rankings, one daily rewarded and four at the end of the event
• 12 quests (10 normal, 2 daily)
• Event chests
• Dragonturtle egg nests
• Event black market
• 3 new Ship designs: Glorious Chelonian, Majestic Chelonian and Apex Chelonian
• 3 new submarine designs: High Sea Snapper, Deep Sea Snapper and Abyssal Snapper
• 3 new Pet designs: Snappy Snapper, Scylla Hatchling and Charybdis Hatchling

Date and Times

The “Den of the Turtles” map will be available for the first half of the event, and during the second half will be replaced with the “Jurassic Pool” map.

As well as the starting Thursday 4th May, the “Shell Shock” Guild v Guild Map is available exclusively every Friday, Saturday and Sunday every two hours starting 12am local server time, lasting for 30 minutes each time, except for 6pm where the map will be available until 10pm.​

General Info

Cassiopeia – Mother of Monsters is an event where you can hunt 8 event ships, Snapjaw, Bloodjaw, Turtle Raider, Turtle Plunderer, Turtle Crusher, Shell Smasher, Hookjaw Devourer and Devourer, on sea.

Turtle Crusher, Shell Smasher, Hookjaw Devourer and Devourer are admiral ships and spawn after a certain number of Snapjaw, Turtle Raider (for Turtle Crusher), Turtle Plunderer, Bloodjaw (for Shell Smasher), Turtle Crusher (for Devourer), and Shell Smasher (for Hookjaw Devourer) are sunken.

Snapjaw can be shot with all types of ammunition all others have to be shot with elite ammunition.

Furthermore, there is Cassiopeia which is on 8 maps (5, 17, 23/2, 29, 31/2, 36/2, 43/1 and 48/1) and on each “Guild map”: “Cassiopeia Chaos”.

All damage against any of the Cassiopeia´s count for the “Big Game Hunter” ranking and to reach the daily target for the “Cassiopeia’s Power”.

To get the “Cassiopeia’s Power” you and all other players on your server have to cause a certain amount of damage against Cassiopeia on a daily base (from 12 noon to 12 noon local server time).

Cassiopeia can be shot with all types of ammunition. ​

Cassiopeia’s Power

When a server achieves “Cassiopeia´s Power” the spawning of Turtle Raider and Turtle Plunderer increases while the spawning of the annoying Snapjaw and Bloodjaw decreases.

Furthermore, the Dragonturtle Egg Nests have less Hit points and thus be easier to destroy - and the content improves, also for the event chests.

All event ships provide better rewards.

The “Guild map”: “Cassiopeia Chaos” can just be opened when Cassiopeia´s Power is active. ​

Ammunition

Shell shock ammunition and Shell Shock Torpedoes causes more damage against all event ships and Terra ammunition causes even more damage against all event ships. ​

NPCs

• Snapjaw:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Cursed souls, more when Cassiopeia´s Power is active, there is also a chance to receive Shell shock ammunition and Shell Shock Torpedo.
• Bloodjaw:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Cursed souls, more when Cassiopeia´s Power is active, there is also a chance to receive Shell shock ammunition and Shell Shock Torpedo.
• Turtle Raider:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Radiant souls, more when Cassiopeia´s Power active.
  • The player who does the last shot gets additional Crystals.
• Turtle Plunderer:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Radiant souls, more when Cassiopeia´s Power is active.
  • The player who does the last shot gets additional Crystals.
• Turtle Crusher:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins.
  • When Cassiopeia´s Power is active, depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with more EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage has a small chance to receive the designs: Apex Chelonian or Abyssal Snapper (Fallback reward is crowns).
• Shell Smasher:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Sanafad or Yulong Coins.
  • When Cassiopeia´s Power is active, depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with more EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Safanad Coins, Orichalkum or Yulong Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage has a small chance to receive the designs: Apex Chelonian or Abyssal Snapper.
• Hookjaw Devourer:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Safanad Coins, as well as some additional Pearls.
  • When Cassiopeia´s Power is active, depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with more EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins, Safanad Coins or Orichalkum, as well as some additional Pearls.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage has a small chance to receive Yulong or the designs: Apex Chelonian or Abyssal Snapper .
  • The player who does last shot receives the design Scorpio, the design Ballista or the design Catapult (Fall back reward Crowns). When Cassiopeia´s Power is active the player also receives Yulong Coins.
  • All players who have inflicted at least 5% damage are also rewarded with Queen´s legacy when Cassiopeia´s Power is active.
• Devourer:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins.
  • When Cassiopeia´s Power is active, depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with more EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Orichalkum or Yulong Coins
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives the design Apex Chelonian, Abyssal Snapper or Pearls.
  • The player who does last shot receives Yulong Coins.
  • All players who have inflicted at least 5% damage are also rewarded with Queen´s legacy when Cassiopeia´s Power is active.
• Lockmaw:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls.
  • When the Cassiopeia’s Power is active you will receive Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins, with some additional Pearls.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives Yulong
  • All players who have inflicted at least 5% damage are also rewarded with King´s legacy when Cassiopeia´s Power is active.

Dragonturtle Egg Nests

The Dragonturtle egg nests must be shot with Harpoons.

Items such as Worldbreaker level 6, Shell shock ammunition, Shell Shock Torpedo, Harpoons level 4, Bastion level 0, Uncommon Tinkering Tools or Crystals can be obtained from the Dragonturtle egg nests if you do the last shot.

If your server has Cassiopeia’s Power active, the Dragonturtle egg nests have reduced Hit points, and you receive Cursed Souls and items such as Worldbreaker level 6, Shell shock ammunition, Shell Shock Torpedo, Harpoons level 4, Bastion level 1 or Uncommon Tinkering Tools. ​

Event Chests

In the event chests you find many useful items, like Shell shock ammunition, Shell Shock Torpedoes, Crystals and some other action items.

If your server has Cassiopeia’s Power active, you also receive Radiant Souls, and have a chance to get Super Armour plates, Bloodlust and other items.

Within Atlantis you will find some Event Chests with different rewards, such as Shell Shock Torpedoes, Uncommon Tools, Dragon Powder, Chilling Touch, Poseidon’s Crown, a Carpenter Level 5 or Launcher Blueprints, along with many other items.​

Rankings

There are 5 rankings, one daily rewarded and two rewarded at the end of the event.

“Big Game Hunter” (rewarded daily): Inflicted damage to Cassiopeia.

“Eternal Hunting Grounds” (rewarded at the end of the event): Points for killing event ships (Total)

“My hunting Ground” (rewarded at the end of the event): Points for killing event ships (Personal)

“Master of the Den” ranking (rewarded at the end of the event): points for defeated waves

“Turtle Tyrants” : Defeat the Turtle Madness​

Guild map: “Cassiopeia Chaos”

“Cassiopeia Chaos” is special map for guilds and can only be accessed by guild members.

It can be accessed by using the action item: “Turtle Tome” when Cassiopeia´s Power is active on the server.

You find Cassiopeia on the map and the damage you and your guild mates cause against Cassiopeia counts for the “Big Game Hunter” ranking and for the daily target for the “Cassiopeia’s Power”.

After every 100.000.000 damage against Cassiopeia a wave of 20 x Bloodjaw, 20 x Turtle Plunderer or 1 Shell Smasher and 1 Lockmaw spawns on the “Cassiopeia Chaos”.

“Cassiopeia Chaos” is destroyed when no player is on the map or “Cassiopeia´s Power” isnt´t active anymore. ​

Group map: “Den of the Turtle”

When you are ported to the Group map you receive a certain amount of “Hammer of Elements” which can be used to build Towers (depending on your role: Fire tower, Earth tower, Air Tower, Love Tower, Water Tower) and upgrade the towers (via the quest system, the towers are also quest giver).

The towers have different effects (beside the normal damage).

You are rOnce you have collected enough Magical emblems you are able to access the “Den of the Turtle” group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Alexandro.

After you choose the role you want to play (Fire, Earth, Air, Love, Water) and the team is full you are teleported to the “Den of the Turtle” group map.

Goal of the Group map is to protect “The Lighthouse” as long as possible against waves of NPCs.

Rewarded after each wave with Hammer of Elements, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Safanad Coins.

The group map ends, when “The Lighthouse” is sunk.

Depending on how many waves “The Lighthouse” has survived you are rewarded with ranking points, ported back to the normal maps and all remaining Hammer of Elements are removed from your inventory. ​

Group map: Shell Shock - “Guild vs. Guild”

Looking for some exciting Guild vs Guild gameplay in the "Shell Shock" map?

Join forces with your guildmates and speak to Alexandros in the Safe Haven to get started.

Once you're in, you'll be assigned to either the red or blue team.

Your objective is to protect your team's turtle by attacking the enemy team's turtle.

The team that fills their damage meter first will win, or if the time limit is reached, the team that has filled the most of their damage meter will be declared the winner.

Keep in mind that to be eligible for a reward, you must inflict at least 5% damage to the enemy turtle.

As you damage the opposing team's turtle, you'll pass three damage thresholds.

After passing the first and second thresholds, NPCs will spawn to defend their turtle.

When you pass the third threshold, your team will receive a buff that gives you additional cannon damage.

Once the match is completed, your guild is rewarded with ranking points; for every player the guild gets points for participating as well as additional points for winning.

Be careful not to get too close to Scylla or Charybdis though, as they will instantly sink you!

And, if you do die, although you will respawn in the map you will receive a debuff which will increase every time you are killed!

Note: Players without a guild can participate in the map, but will not gain any ranking points.​

Jurassic Pool

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the “Jurassic Pool-Map”.

The group map has two phases, the goal is to sink the BOSS: Lockmaw.

In the first phase Lockmaw and Jurassic Snappers spawn on the map, after Lockmaw has lost a certain amount of HP the second phase starts and Lackmaw de-spawns.

A giant “Whirlpool” appears on the map which draw players in the middle.

The Whirlpool gets weaker after certain time. Lackmaw spawns again on the map together with Jurassic Lurkers which explode as soon as they are in the radius of the BOSS: Lackmaw or players.

To get out of the “Whirlpool” players must shoot one Jurassic Lurker.

When all Jurassic Lurkers has been sunk the first phase starts again.​

Quests

You can accept quests by speaking to Teresa Jones and later to Elisa Bradford (Safe haven).

There are 2 quest chains, a total of 10 normal and 2 daily quests.

For some of the quests, you need a certain amount of reputation with Teresa Jones.

The daily quests are reset each day at 12 noon (local server time). ​
