The Pumpkin Festival 2015​

The Pumpkin Festival – October 31st until November 12th, 2015

The Pumpkin Festival features the following:

• Bossmap with some worthwhile rewards
• One brand new pet and three old pets available in the black market
• Two event phases and a reunion with the feared boss Dullahan
• One Event ranking for each phase
• Three brand new and powerful designs!​

The event will start at 12 noon on 31st October (LST) and end at 12 noon on 12th November (LST).

The first phase will run until 12 noon on 6th November. After that the 2nd phase will start immediately and will run until the end of the event.

The black market will remain open until 12 noon on 12th November (LST).

During both phases there are 3 event NPCs to give pirates of all levels something to aim for:

Revento which will appear on all maps,
Gargouille which will appear on maps 6 and upwards
Infernos which will appear on maps 16 and upwards.​

Revento will give players Pumpkin Essences. Gargouille will give players Spider Essences and Infernos will give players Bone Essences.

The amount you receive will be proportional to the amount of damage you cause against the NPCs.

There will be no additional reward for causing the most damage or making the last shot.

The more damage you make – the greater the reward you will get back!

Are the Event Ships protected?

Yes! Once their health is down, they will spawn minions. Each NPC will spawn a different minion with different stats.

Revento will spawn the Pumpkin King minion
Gargouille will spawn the Shadow Spider minion
Infernos will spawn the Restless Bones minion. ​

All minions will drop Experience Points and Pearls depending on how much damage you cause against them.

What can I do with all the Essences I’ve collected?

The Essences can be used to purchase items in the Black Market! These items include Ship Designs and Pets. Other items available in the Black Market during the event include Event Keys, Pumpkin Ammo and numerous buff items!

How can I get hold of the Event Ship designs?

You will be able to exchange your essences for the designs Jack, Revento, Infernos and the two new designs Spooky Lovibond and Haunting Lovibond at the black market.

The other three designs Gargouille, Headless Rider and Terror Lovibond are only available as a possible reward on the Bossmap!


From 12 noon (CET) on 6th November, part II of the Pumpkin Festival will begin!

Everything from part I will remain on the sea but you will notice an addition fright

the Dullahan Boss NPC as well as a few little treats!​

Dullahan can be found in maps 6 – 20! This ferocious foe can only be shot with Pearl ammo.

Depending on how much damage you cause against Dullahan, you will be rewarded either with Crystals or Mojos!

The player who causes the most damage against Dullahan will be additionally rewarded with Voodoo Doom Ammo.

All the players who attacked Dullahan will receive Ancient Emblems. The amount depends on how much damage you caused.

The player who causes the last shot and the player who causes the most damage against Dullahan will be rewarded with additional Ancient Emblems.

Furthermore to that, all players who attacked Dullahan will receive one Solon’s and one Platon’s Coin.

Note: There’s a maximum of collectable coins and emblems in your item store.

How can I access the Gantril Bossmap?

Once you have collected enough Ancient Emblems you will be able to access the Gantril Bossmap from the Safe Haven by speaking to Norton Maxwell.

If you manage to get into the Bossmap you will be faced with Emblas and Gantril – the Boss Monster.

Using Pumpkin Ammo against them will cause much greater damage.

The objective here is to sink Gantril. After surfacing, Gantril summons his helper Embla.

Embla has two skills.

First is to create a defensive zone beneath Gantril which will mitigate the inflicted damage to the boss.

The second is that after a certain time each Embla will clone itself. You should sink the emerging Emblas as fast as possible.

Gantril will take a dive every now and then, regenerating himself – call him back .quickly by destroying his "snorkel“.

The Bossmap can of course be completed with the help of hired helper ships.

Two options are available to you here:

Helper ships can be hired with Platon's coins:

• Helper ships 1 and 2 have to be freed from traps
• Helper ship 1 sinks all Embla immediately.
• Helper ship 2 heals you.​

Helper ships can be hired with Solon's coins:

• Helper ships 1 and 2 have to be freed from traps.
• Helper 1 needs more time to sink the Embla. You also have to help out from time to time.
• The healing effect of helper ship 2 is lower ​

NOTE: The more powerful helpers you hire, the greater this will influence your final result.

Is there a quest-giver during this event?

Yes, there is a quest-giver – William Bloodaxe!

There are six special quests for you during phase I and another five special quests during phase II.

Every quest completed is rewarded.

The quest-giver can be found in the Safe Haven!

Actually it‘s a series of quests, which you must complete consecutively. The last quest of each phase can then be repeated daily.

What gems do the ship designs have?

The ship designs from last year’s Pumpkin Festival have the following stats:

• Jack: +5,000 Hit Points
• Revento: 5% cannon damage and +25,000 HP
• Gargouille: 10% cannon damage, 5,000 VP and +50,000 HP
• Infernos: +12% cannon damage, 10% harpoon damage, 30,000 VP and 65,000 HP
• Headless Rider: +13% cannon damage, 10% harpoon damage, 50,000 VP and 65,000 HP​

The brand new ship designs have the following stats:

• Spooky Lovibond: +12% harpoon damage, 6% hit chance, 50,000 HP and 20% repair speed
• Haunting Lovibond: +14% cannon damage, 13% boarding bonus, 70,000 VP and 12% damage prevention
• Terror Lovibond: +15% cannon damage, 16% critical damage, 14% damage prevention and 10.5 % dodge chance​

How can I get the Pumpkin Festival Pets?

The Pets can be purchased in the Black Market for Essences.

The pets have the following stats:

Bartholomew: +5% hit chance and +10,000 Hit Points
Immortur: +10% dodge chance and +40,000 Hit Points
Doombearer: +10% hit chance and 10% reduced chance of getting hit
Ghost bride (new pet!): +5% critical damage and +10% reduced chance of getting hit

The Event Chests can be found on the sea and can be opened using the special Event Keys which can be purchased in the Black Market for pearls or in the payment section.

Items such as Pumpkin Power, Pumpkin Ammo, Voodoo Doom Ammo, Voodoo Blast Ammo, Mojos and Crystals can be won from the Chests.

What ammunition types do I have to use during this event?

All NPCs (excluding minions) must be sunk with pearl ammo.

Pumpkin Ammo will be available during the Pumpkin Festival. If you use Pumpkin Ammo against the Event NPCs it will cause a much greater damage.

What rewards can I get from the Event Ranking?

Points can be obtained by making the most damage against any of the Event NPCs mentioned above.

There will also be a ranking in every phase. The Headless Madness Ranking.

At the end of each phase the rewards will be distributed as followed:

• 1st place: 1x Libra Bonusmap, 10x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 2nd place: 1x Aquarius Bonusmap, 8x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 3rd place: 1x Aquarius Bonusmap, 6x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 4th and 5th place: 1x Aquarius Bonusmap, 4x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 6th – 10th place: 1x Taurus Bonusmap, 2x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 11th – 20th place: 1x Firestorm, 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 21st – 100th place: 50.000 Voodoo Blast Ammo
• 5 random players*: 1x Firestorm
• 5 random players*: 1x Taurus Bonusmap​

*who finished within position 1 - 100 in the event ranking. Please note that due to the prizes being given out randomly, players can potentially win more than one prize package!

What happens if I have any Essences left at the end of the event?

If you have any Essences left at the end of the event it will be replaced by other in game items, to be revealed near the end of the event.

Ancient Emblems will not be exchanged.

The Event Keys will be replaced by normal chest keys.

 

The Event ends tomorrow.

The black market will stay for 2 more days, until the 14th of November, 12:00 noon (CET). So at the next day on 15th November at 12 noon, after the Black Market has closed, the Essences will be exchanged for Pumpkin, Spider and Bone Essences at a ratio of:

· 30 Pumpkin Essences for 1000 Pumpkin Ammo

· 15 Spider Essences for 1000 Pumpkin Ammo

· 10 Bone Essences also for 1000 Pumpkin Ammo​

Event Keys will be changed at a ratio of 1:1 for Treasure Chest Keys.
