    The Winter Event 2013

Winter Event - from 1st December until 24th December, 2013

The Winter Event features the following:

    • New amazing Bifröst ship design to be won!
    • Find the Jötnar pet by looting the Bjorgold NPC.
    • Find Gingerbread men and trade them in for pieces of the ship design
    • Frozen treasure chests
    • Shoot ice floes

    Questions and Answers
What stats will the new Bifröst ship design have?

The powerful Bifröst ship has the following stats:
    • Elite level 0-22: Bonus Damage: 12%, Bonus Hit Points: 65,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 32,500.
    • Elite level 23-24: Bonus Damage: 13%, Bonus Hit Points: 71,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 35,000.
    • Elite level 25-26: Bonus Damage: 14%, Bonus Hit Points: 77,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 37,500.
    • Elite level 27: Bonus Damage: 15%, Bonus Hit Points: 83,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 40,000.
The ship design also has a 10% bonus harpoon damage, no matter what your elite level is.

How can I get hold of the Bifröst design?

In order to get hold of the Bifröst design you need to collect 4 different pieces of the design. In each of the little events you can earn one of these pieces. You can only get the design by collecting the 4 pieces, it will not be available in the payment section immediately after the event.

What are these 4 different events?

One of the 4 pieces of the map can be found in the frozen treasure chests – the frozen keys can be bought in the Black Market for pearls. There are many items available in the frozen chests such as snowmen, mojos and gingerbread men as well as the chance to get 1 piece of the ship design.

The second event is the Evil Snowman which has to be fired at with snowball ammo. After the snowman reaches 0 HP, he explodes and drops presents. A piece of the ship design could be found within these glitters!

The third event is a gift chasing event where a player must hold onto the gift for as long as possible in order to gain points and finish high in the rankings. Every 24 hours from 12 noon to 12 noon (Local Server Time), the ranking is reset and the top 5 ranked players will each get a piece of the ship design. In addition, 5 random players in the top 100 ranking will gain a piece of the design per day.

The fourth piece can be gained by opening at least 20 of the 24 doors of the Winter Calendar.

What happens if I miss out on getting one of the 4 parts?

Don’t worry! If you miss out on getting one of the pieces of the ship design, you can get them by trading in your collected Gingerbread men per piece. The Gingerbread men can be gained in several ways such as through destroying the Event NPCs and ice floes or purchased in the payment section on certain special days during the event.

When will the different parts of the event start?

The Winter Calendar will start on 1st December and end on 24th December. Ice Floes, Frozen Treasure Chests and the Hugin and Jörmungander NPCs will be on the sea chart from this time too.

Please note: The previous Advent Calendar doors will be open even if the player did not open the Calendar door on that day. For example, if a player logs into the game on the 2nd but didn’t log in on 1st, the door for the 1st will be open.

The Snowman will spawn from 12 noon (Local Server Time) on 4th December until 12 noon on 11th December. For the whole time that the Snowman is on the sea, the Björgold Monster (it’s more of a Monster that moves around the sea chart than an ship) will be on the sea chart.

The Gift Chaser Event will start at 12 noon (LST) on the 13th December until 12 noon on 20th December!

How can I get the new pet?

You can either get the Jötnar pet by trading Gingerbread men for it in the Black Market, or by finding it in one of the glitters dropped by Bjorgold. Bjorgold is an NPC that can be shot using gold ammo. If you manage to defeat it before it despawns, it will drop 6 glitters which contain different rewards including Candle’s, Snowmen and the Jötnar pet. Snowball ammunition will cause extra damage against these NPCs!

Will there be anything else on the sea chart during the event?

Yes! During the event, the Hugin and Jörmungander NPCs will sail around all PvP maps. Hugin can be shot using gold ammo, whilst Jörmungander must be shot using pearl ammo. Snowball ammunition will cause extra damage against these NPCs!

What happens with my Gingerbread men and event keys at the end of the event?

If you have any Gingerbread men left at the end of the event they will be replaced with Ice Ammo at a ratio of 100 ice ammo per Gingerbread man.

The Event Chest Keys will also be replaced by normal chest keys.

Please note : The Event Shop will be open for several days after the end of the event (until 2nd January) allowing plenty of time to trade in the Gingerbread men.
