These Still Exist...Is this Going to be Enforced or Not?

    Support is incapable of dealing with it. They require players to do what they cannot do. Like Loki says don't hold your breath.

    Ahoy,

    As I've mentioned previously if you send the Username along with the UserID of the player, then support shall change them if they are indeed unspyable.

    Please note, having special characters in a name does not mean it is not spyable - its only not spyable when you copy and paste the name and it still can not be spied.

    That's the problem. I copy and paste them and they can't be spied! Whether or not they have symbols in say Portuguese doesn't matter. I can't spy them. I sent 4 names to Support and they replied back telling ME to get the IDs of the cheaters! So I have to capture a screenshot during the middle of a battle with the player! With the way the ships shoot now, I can be sunk so fast this is virtually impossible. That is absolutely pitiful for me to have to do their job for them in order to right a wrong.

    Pretty much sums up the competence of Support. They expect players to do what they cannot do. And of course we get the usual shoulder shrug and 2 step from the other side of the aisle. Not only are they unspyable they are unsearchable in Mateys. The Cnrl C Cut and paste works fine when put in a support ticket. And btw some people here only use the QWERTY key board, so typing all those cryptic fonts is out of the question. Just another example of how poor administration has relegated yet another game feature to the trash bin.

    Ahoy,

    If you are unable to get the ID of the player that is fine, it would just make it a lot easier for Support to find the player. If you can't get the ID, please make sure to include the server they play on along with the username, e.g. 40, 605, 1353 etc.

    I appreciate the idea. But If I could capture his server number (screenshot still needed in battle, which means I'm gonna get sunk trying to get it), then that would be great. It's just almost impossible. Since this is a really bad day for me, I'll just offer the truth and say several of us players should just run this game; nobody else is. Look at the complaints...goodness - it is a tragic mess of epic proportions. Yet "WE" have to alert the developers (via the Mods) of the problems. They should sail a ship for a few days and see how pitiful it is (and then submit their resignation - it is the honorable thing to do when you are 1,000 feet over your head and lack the computer skills to fix matters). Feel free to delete or edit this. I don't care anymore.:(

    Ahoy,

    A screenshot is not needed; simply the number which can be gained by glancing below the HP bar, or you could take it from chat if you share a chat, or if you see them in the Hall of Fame you can hover your mouse over the name to get the Server/ID.

    I understand your point, but without a server at the very least, it is not feasible for Support as we have 49'220'435 registered players.

    As this is a technical issues thread however, which this is not a technical issue, and there is nothing we can assist with here on the forum any further than the advice provided, I shall close this thread to prevent it becoming a discussion thread.

    As mentioned, please contact Support regarding this issue.
