    Ahoy Pirates,

We have now had several months to test the new forum and to find out what worked well and where improvements could be made. In this regard we would also like to thank all of you who have provided us feedback on the new forum - we value all this feedback very highly and are glad that so many of you are committed to share your point of view with us.

For the past few months and weeks a dedicated team here at Bigpoint have been working hard to improve the forum in several ways and are now ready to introduce the improved forums to you. You will find that the most noticeable changes are associated with the design and graphics. Moreover we have focused on making the forum more user friendly and more concise than the previous version.

Among the improvements we have a new style for all our forums as well as several new exciting features such as thread prefixes, build-in calendar on the sidebar etc. More features are planned in the future and will be introduced as we go along.

As in the past: we look forward to seeing you on the forums - whether to take part in polls, write posts, give advice to other players or to take part in the regular discussion rounds.

    - Planned date & time of the launch: 24. Sept. 2014 at approximately 09:30:00 AM (CEST)

    - Length of the downtime: approximately 6-8 hours

We have already some experience with the changes, but we still can’t tell you exactly how long the change will take.

    Best regards,

    Your Seafight Team
