fix usa east to much lag

 

Hello, third day in row fix this USA East server uits [edit] to be playing lagging everytime and u guys telling us to clear cache we not stupid

The recent sync for the Most Wanted event is supposed to have helped with the lag. Has it helped at all?

 

no really, when i try to hit the Events this lag hard

 

While you may not like to hear it, this is from the cache filling up fast than expected. Your computer fills up the cache while rendering out the special mechanics for the event ships. If you clear your cache halfway through hitting and event ship you lag should decrease.

 

my Cache is cleared and my Computer dont have Problem, in the last Most Wanted Event i had the same Problem with the lag. Im now in raid and alll work good but if i hit the Event ship all start to lag

 

Clearing your cache once doesnt solve it. It only helps it. Think of it as a gladd of water. Clearing your cache dumps out the water. Then hitting the event ship pours more water back into the glass filling it up again. So, to prevent the overflowing you need to dump the water out again halfway through the npc. The cache will fill up as you hit the NPC so clearing it while shooting will help the lag. Does this make more sense?

 

Blah blah Blah Nimitz like i said we not dumb playing this game for over 7m years now never had any problem cleared cache everything 49% stuck lol this game is a joke and u telling us about cache Imao i play on Global also with 100 times more bopats then on the EASt and i dont lag at all so is it the server or my computer dont come upm with dumb stories geez just fix the server

 

Zoolando, I have played this game since 2006, so I know how you feel on this issue. However, this doesn't change the fact that this is part of the issue. There are other things which can contribute to this. If you are trying to play on the server and you are not from the same country or area where the server is, then there can be connection issues. I personally have not had any lag issues. But, not all servers are the same. Not all computers are the same. Not all connections and ISPs are the same. There are a multitude of issues that come together to create lag. Simply blaming the servers is not right because it is not the technological root of the issue. Factors come together to cause the lag.

hey Nimitz i feel your frustration but im sorry to inform you regarding this server us east it is the server i checked everything from my computer had it dept check line from internet provider traced signal back to BPs server its the server that is laggy this is not a recent thing this has been going on for yrs i can easily log us west server and signals strong awesome connection but log us east and major road blocks its interesting us west server connects in San Francisco where if you trace us east its some where in England ive had this discussion with BP for several yrs showed what the hops were connecting to this server and there sky high the best they have is 100-170 at times coming through there servers anything that high will cause lag so the fact that you claim its anything but the companys server is ludicrous unless you have looked into the problem then how can you honestly report a solution???? ive fought with BP not doing nothing but its like arguing with a small child it goes nowhere fast

 

GPMONSTER, this is the information which we have been given by the dev team. I cannot speak anymore on that. I live in the US and have played a number of servers, US East included, and have not had any lag on them. That said, as one person, I may be an outlier. But, we as a Moderator team have spoken with the devs. They have informed us that they are not seeing any issues with the servers. I realize this isn't the answer you want to hear. But, it is the information given to us. They informed us that the event NPCs may be causing a bit more lag due to the mechanics, but clearing your cache if it gets a bit laggy during the event may remedy such a problem. Beyond that, we cannot provide anything more. We are passing all of your thoughts and comments on this subject back to the dev team.
