Variety of Gems

Whats the point of having all these different types of gems when we're limited to how many we can equip?
Takes way to long to switch them out having to go to the safe haven...

The idea of having gems is you can swap any attributes around so you can wear the designs you want, when you want and still have the power that you want The 5 slots has always been a basic for seafight designs, as such there isn't a need for more.

I would also like to note that you can set different designs up to do different things, and use your favourites bar to interchange between them at a click of a switch.

The gems are new. Are they going to increase the number of slots?

Sort of but just seems silly to me to have so many types without slots: I have set up cannon damage, harpoon damage, HP and VP plus a special. Whats the point of repair speed or damage ones when you cant equip them - does anyone use these ones?
