    I was sailing around map 1-4 and something was draining points from my voodoo shield. There was nothing visible in the area. What is going on?

    while sailing the maps were you picking up shineys/ glitters ? if this is the case then all the traps you got in shineys are coming of your voodoo shield. its a known issue and has been reported a few times in the forum.
