VP

Could you please tell me what I have lost this week that would cost me 25k in vp. I have the lvl3 voodoo priest till october, so that's not it.

As your fellow pirate suggests we will need your user id, user name and server to be able to review your account.

Please also be aware we will not be able to state where any vp has gone as we are not able to see what vp you originally had. We can however check to ensure you ae at this time receiving the correct vp for the configuration of your account.

The last day I played was last Sunday and my voodoo was 305K....now it is 280k...maybe something happened with the update of gems? I don't know, please check.

Sorry for the delay in our response. You have no gem which gives additional vp, could this be the reason why your vp has dropped?

I am working on this still. But this whole system is new to me too, and I have the same information that you do. I'm also currently testing many of these gems in order to get more information.

I'm sorry that at this time I can't give a definitive answer.

 

So...with the new gem system, the VP has been taken from this skin (krackenhunter)?
This is what it used to be....
Elite level 25-26: Bonus Damage: 16%, Bonus Hit Points: 77,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 40,000.
This is what I have now.....
Bonus Damage: 14%, Bonus Hit Points: 75,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 0

Also....The ship design also repairs your ship’s Hit Points 20% more efficiently and gives 10% bonus harpoon damage, no matter what your elite level is.

The repair rate is now 30%, 10% ELP bonus and a 50% DoT reduction

In short...this skin is much different than it used to be. A reduction of HP, VP being completely removed, harpoon bonus completely removed, and Bonus Damage reduced.....not sure that the right gems have been put toward this skin. I am not confident that the other skins haven't been messed up as well.

I understand your concern. However, we too are still sorting out the gems and what each skin's buffs are supposed to be and how they're working.

Are you sure you did not remove any gems which increased or decreased your VP from your ship as well?

 

I did remove gems from the elite level boats and a few other skins. If you look at my account, you can see the empty skins. I did nothing with the krackenhunter. The gems on it are as I found it, and you can see this by looking at the gems I have in inventory.

It's been a couple days, any new information?

 

It is not giving the Voodoo HP. Immaculate Azurite gem +30% HP repair rate, and VP not showing up anywhere. no defense gem for the 42,500 VP that comes with design.

The Krakenhunter ship is unbelievably powerful and has the following stats:

Elite level 0-22: Bonus Damage: 14%, Bonus Hit Points: 65,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 35,000.

Elite level 23-24: Bonus Damage: 15%, Bonus Hit Points: 71,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 37,500.

Elite level 25-26: Bonus Damage: 16%, Bonus Hit Points: 77,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 40,000.

Elite level 27: Bonus Damage: 17%, Bonus Hit Points: 83,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 42,500.

Are you sure you did not accidentally overwrite the VP gem from the ship? It was noted in the official announcements that this was possible to do.

 

I am sure...I did nothing with the gems on this skin...

nor did I do any thing with the gems on telemachus, storm petrel, tidehunter, or krackenhunter. I may have taken the yellow gems off of soul catcher, odysseus, bifrost, battle tested columbus,veterean columus, aircadia, serpentine, and obliquosis, if they were available to that boat. I removed all gems of all the other skins into my inventory and have not placed any gems on any skins.

I have an account with same skin on server 146 and the vp is not there. I don't play the server very much and have done nothing there with gems at all. I was checking after 146/41837147 *GRUDGE*'s post to see and noticed no vp on the design. Has no VP gem. I had vp until sync now none on that design. System just took it, can only use 2 offense and 2 defense so just did not give with change over. No I did not delete it or overwrite it. The system did.

My Answer

From my understanding this is correct. As players can only choose 2 offense and 2 defense this is how it would work.

While I know players will complain about this, there is nothing we here on the forum can do about this, all comments/complaints and feedback should be sent to the support team.

As such, while I do appreciate your feedback Keelhull, and appreciate you posting the information I shall close this thread.

I am not closing because I don't want this discussed, but there is a discussion thread with regards to the transmogrification system. Any comments can be placed there, but discussions on the Tech section simply slow down our helping others.
