Support What happened to my Rank?

I just logged in and to my surprise I was demoted.

My rank was Corsair and now I'm just a Cabin Boy? Seriously?

Where is the update notice?
It is a mistake?

The only thing I could find myself was that I was ranked high. And now I'm just a Cabin Boy?

This is a complete lack of respect for those who have been playing SF for over 12 years. You should be embarrassed in your face.

Bunch of incompetents who can't get an update right. And on top of that, I want to lower my rank.

By the way, they removed the days as pirates from the equation, right? Great consideration for those who helped enrich the company.

Just to keep you informed, this is still being investigated and when we know any further information we shall post a patchday note or announcement.

The rank has been broken for a long time now. It has been broken since we got unity.. I haven't been able to check how close I am for the next ranked for many weeks. And now it's completely broken. Hope you fix it "soon"

 

Rank dont count for jack now unless its a bot.

 

Rankings have always been broke and corrupted for a variety of reasons, particularly when Pirate Storm came online and BP Seafight felt it necessary to emulate it in order to be competitive with it. Either that or the Pirate Storm developers soon dominated both games. So much so that Pirate Storm is a BP/Youzou game now with many of the features shared between the 2 games. Seems to work better to develop the best ships you can and let your actions determine your reputation and not depend so much on a myriad of game junkyard features or toxic chat.

 

You can still rise the ranks without using bot, been doing daily exp missions for a year. What matters is how much you care.

 

Reflecting on your speech I had an idea to put ranks to use. I will post in the correct section next.
