What's the Deal?

    With the latest sync today the amount of Battle Points have been decreased when you sink a player. What is the reason for this? It's bad enough when you fight a gold coin level 20 ship, get smoked, chase him through several border hops, then get 3 bp? Ridiculous, an adjustment should be made to Increase bp, not Decrease it. 99% of my server gives me 5 bp or less. BP should also take into account the pirate level, rank, ep, not just their bp rank. Earning EP only requires time and persistence, (not to mention the exploits). BP requires you actively hunt players and keep your ship in top fighting shape, ammo, amulets, cannons, tridents, etc. Now after investing so much into it, you decrease what we are in pursuit of. Doesn't seem logical to me. I totally understand level 6 and below noobs giving 3 bp; however ships that have been here for years, have over 1Billion ep, silver and gold coins, massive hp and vp to cut through, should give much more than that.

    I have not heard of any changes to the Battle Point system, however I will have to ask for clarification and will repost when I have a response.
