    Why after every purchase I get it charges me an extra $3?

    you paid using your credit card but for the payment it was classed as an international payment. therefore the banks would have converted to the server currency and also charged you hidden bank charges for doing so. it's unfortunate that you got charged extra but the payment was legitimate.
