    ok this is a serious question. So the work around to get speed and such is to get sunk.

    are you going to make it free to rep sail until this is fixed?

    Ahoy mate,

    Currently there is no talk of making the sails free to repair, however, I would suggest removing your sails from your decks before you sink yourself to get your speed back. This will prevent them from being destroyed.
