Until now! Give love no chance: lay Penelope low with gold ammunition, luring Odysseus to her side. Once he's close use Pearl ammunition to bring him down. Beware the Sirens and their deadly song as you’ll be powerless to resist it - love-struck and infatuated sailing aimlessly - their voices getting louder when they’re near death! Break hearts, shatter dreams, and show your disdain for Love on the seas of Seafight.

During the Wrath of Calypso event, if the Calypso is not attacked for 10 minutes (if it’s left there on its own for 10 minutes at any time) it will automatically despawn.

This is a mechanic added to prevent the sea chart potentially overloading with NPCs which would greatly reduce the server performance.

We were also aware earlier that the Calypso's Tentacles could not be shot with gold ammo, only the elite type.

Due to a technical error with the “one time buyable” function of the Unstoppable pack in the Black Market at the beginning of the event, many players were able to get a huge amount of them (some in the thousands) which was not what we initially intended. The reason the price was so favourable (only 1 Radiant Soul for 50x of the Unstoppable item) was because we wanted everyone to have the chance to have them, but not an unlimited amount – hence the implementation of the “one time buyable” function. Due to the error, we decided to remove the excess amounts of the item and book back a Radiant Soul for each pack of 50 purchased. In the end, no players should have lost out as they should have been booked back what they used in purchasing the Unstoppable items.

We hope you understand the reasons for this.

Just a reminder – the Wrath of Calypso event will finish on Monday 3rd March at 12 noon (local server time).

The Black Market will still be available until the end of the day on 6th March (local server time) for you to use up your Souls. Sometime after the Black Market has closed the conversion for the Souls and Event Chest Keys will take place. For every Snake Key you will receive a normal chest key. For every Cursed Soul you will receive 1 Crystal and for every 2 Radiant Souls you will receive a Lost Love item.

All of the payment packages for the Wrath of Calypso Event will be available until the end of the day on 3rd March (CET).

As you may have noticed, we have already made the exchange booking for the Wrath of Calypso event.

Unlike the events before, we have now implemented an automated system that will swap the event currency. This time however, we made a small mistake.

Instead of waiting until Friday, the booking was scheduled for the moment the event ended.

However the Souls will remain in the payment area until tonight 23:59:59h CET to allow the American players to refill their stock. The event on the US West and East Coast servers ends at noon Local Server Time (like it did here).

To compensate for this error we have made the following decision:

· When the event ends on the US based servers, the automated exchange will run normally and exchange all Radiant and Cursed Souls into Crystals.​

o 1 Radiant Soul = 2 Crystals

o 1 Cursed Soul = 1 Crystal​

· The Souls will remain in the Payment section as planned until 23:59:59h CET.​

· Tomorrow, Tuesday, 4 March 2014, at around noon CET we will run a second exchange for everyone who bought more Souls while they are still in the Payment section.

· The Black Market will remain online – as planned – until the 6 March 2014. However tomorrow Tuesday 4th March, 2014, at noon (12:00h CET) all prices will be changed to Crystals!

o Example: If an item would cost 50 Radiant Souls and 50 Cursed Souls, the price in Crystals would be 150 Crystals (50 Radiant = 100 Crystals, 50 Cursed = 50 Crystals)

We apologize for this sudden change of plans but we think that this solution is the most user friendly. On the one hand you can use all the Crystals you got to buy Skill points and such OR you can use the Crystals to purchase items from the Black Market until Thursday, 6 March.

Note: The “Lost Love” items will be available in the Black Market until Thursday as well – so you can decide if you want to swap them or not.
