    Yesterday’s server maintenance​
    Ahoy Pirates,

    Yesterday we managed to virtualize the servers. This process is being done on all Bigpoint games and yesterday it was Seafight’s turn. This change will be a huge benefit for us in the future as it means that when we have server load during peak times of the day or during big events, individual servers don’t take all the strain but instead it is spread out over a number of different servers.

    Unfortunately it caused quite a lot of problems yesterday but by early evening these were resolved and the virtualization was successfully completed.
