voodoo deck

i got voodoo deck but i think it doesn't seem to add anything to my ship and equipping the lantern also doesn't seem to add any canon damage except for very small amount

if you have already obtained a Voodoo Deck then please be aware that the effects will not stack, however the duration of these effects will increase.

When it comes to expansion items (eg. lanterns) please be aware that each and every item has two different kind of values - relative and absolute.

yes i am aware of the duration but it doesn't add slots or anything in my ship and i have level 3 lantern it suppose to add like 16% damage bonus but it only add like 1.6%??

 

If you believe that your Voodoo Deck is not providing you any cannon slots please contact Support with your issue.

Level 3 Storm Lantern provide you with:

• + 4% Critical hit damage (absolute)
• + 16% Cannon damage (relative)
• - 7% Damage prevention (absolute)

As you can see there are two kinds of values:

• Absolute values are when extensions that contains the same type of value are added together to give you a total.
• Relative values are calculated to at an average, meaning if a value is lower or not included on another equipped extension, the maximum value will be less. The value that is displayed in the overview shows the optimum value. This is the one that can be reached if you are either equipping only one extension, or extensions of the same type.
