Feedback How to increase Captain's Vitality?

I would like clarification on ways to increase a captain's vitality.

I had a Captain with high vitality, Harmless level, over 200. When I promoted him, he drastically lowered his vitality. It went to 93.

But for Dangerous missions the vitality required is 400. So, is there another way to increase the captain's vitality besides equipping him with items?

You can empower your Captain as well. There are chances for experience and perk transfer as well as vitality increase to the captain that is being empowered. But be aware, you lose the captain you use to empower your first captain and have potential for nothing to transfer.

 

In this case, is it random, or will a Harmless captain increase a captain's vitality more than an Outcast Captain?

 

It is mostly random. You can use potions to increase the chance of specific things to transfer to the empowered captain though.

I understand, Nimitz, but there are no potions to increase vitality. I've already sacrificed about 6 captains to increase the vitality of a Dangerous Cap, but it didn't increase even one point yet.

I had to try my luck refining equipment. Even so, I increased the vitality to only 150, which does not allow me to perform dangerous missions.

I just think the vitality boost could be better defined, rather than a totally random and obscure process. For example, 10% of the sacrificed captain's vitality would pass to the captain I want to improve. Adding a few potions to increase that base number would also be appropriate. Anyway, I know this post is not for suggestions, but here's the tip.

before you close it I could say that how to increase vitality is leveling up the captain. every level gives like 20-30 extra vitality. I promoted my captain too and he went from 200 to 90 vitality but then I put vitality equipment on him and leveled him up to 10 and got 290 vitality, 90 more than before

 

Is this a suggestion? Or are you saying this happened to your captains?

 

not sure how you see this as a suggestion, I'm just telling you how to increase a captain's vitality. When you promote it you have to level it up to get your vitality back, and then get green euqipment that increases vitality
