    1. Ablative Plating vs. Reinforced Ribs

Are you aware that each and every Ship Extension have two values: Absolute and Relative?

    No? Let me explain...

Absolute values are when extensions that contains the same type of value are added together to give you a total.

Relative values are calculated to at an average, meaning if a value is lower or not included on another equipped extension, the maximum value will be less. The value that is displayed in the overview shows the optimum value. This is the one that can be reached if you are either equipping only one extension, or extensions of the same type.

The entire list of Ship Extensions which points out exact Absolute and Relative values can be found here -> Ship Extensions

    Reinforced Ribs:

    - Provide you with additional HP (absolute)
    - Provide you with additional VP (absolute)
    - Provide you with additional Damage Prevention (relative)

In short -> To achieve full potential of Ribs players should not mix it with anything else eg. Hardwood beams.

Mixing Ribs with different extension would affect Damage Prevention bonus.

    Ablative Plating:

    - Provide you with additional HP (based on your HP base) (relative)
    - Provide you with additional Damage Prevention (absolute)

In short -> You can mix Ablative Platings with anything you wish and your Damage Prevention will be the same.

    Conclusion:

Ribs are better for your Damage Prevention which could make your tests, quests, event npcs easier to do.

Ablative Platings always provide you with the same amount of Damage Prevention which allow this item to be mixed with different extensions (eg. Platings + Steeled Chains of Speed = Fine damage prevention + fine reload time).

    2. 10 000 Lords Reputation (Inferno Overseers, Monsoon Lords, Temperst Masters and Quake Conquerors)

These reputations are required to obtain additional loot within the Commonwealth Raid Map.

Every reputation provides small chance to obtain 3-7 Yulong Coins from Gildblade - please note the more reputations you've finished the higher chance to obtain yulong coins.

Is it worth it? In my personal opinion - yes!

Having all 4 kind of reputation maxed gives you guaranteed yulong coin loot from VCMA Usurper and VCMA Harrowstorm!

If you wish to read more regarding the Commonwealth Raid map ->

    3. Cannons

It seems like players are divided into 2 groups when it comes to cannons, from what I have seen Overlord and Bastions are the best ones to play with.

More information on each cannon found within the game (old and new ones) can be found here ->
    Cannons

    4. Black Gunpowder vs. Dragon Powder

    Black Gunpowder:

    +10% Hit Probability
    +10% Critical Damage
    Dragon Powder:

    +15% Hit Probability
    +15% Critical Damage
Most players use Dragon Powder as their PvP Powder due to higher hit probability and critical damage.
    Hope this answer your questions.

    Happy Sailing!
