What is the difference between the two factions?

Is this like the civil war event where the other side's NCP shoot at you?

Is the ammo to get more damage different by faction? The way the FAQ is worded it implies that there are two different ammo that gain more damage, but it doesn't say they are for the different factions. And the event completion says we have to shoot 10m of each.

Event completion says to play Bloody Battle group map, but Captain Ravenbeard doesn't have it (or the mini game). No date range is given in the FAQ like the one for the volcano.

 

Zoth Dragon 1,5 billion damage seems abit too much. Atleast open up the map more often to play it more.

 

Where is the Zoth Dragon? I see the notice that it's available, but the FAQ doesn't mention it at all.

Is there a range limit on the Commonwealth Worshipper cause I have been checking the rage on it and I never see it spawn, if that's the case that should change I don't want to but stuck on a quest forever

 

Issues with the abyss of shadow's map:

• The healer is not working, only healing for 500 dmg that isnt even adding up
• Some maps have TOO many npcs, it doesnt make any sense, there is no gradual ramp up of NPCs
• The exit and new dungeon portal is just so annoying to find, would be nice if it shows up on the minimap
• The rewards do not seem to be getting better with each map, getting the same amount of currencies

Also the buffs for the companions are all the same, and they duplicate with greater values within the same category, all upgradable. Just seems so unnecessary and overly complicated.

Here are the answers to some of your questions:

1. There are three kind of NPCs, two faction ones and 1 neutral - (that's why your ammo works better on some of the NPCs for example) - that seem to be the biggest difference. Additionally two factions have different admirals on the water, but as for Phase 1 that's it.
2. Yes, correct! However this time all NPCs do not attack you unless you provoke them to do so!
3. Yes! Different faction require different faction - that's why you can see a small difference when you hit some of the NPCs.
4. The FAQ do no provide exact dates for group maps, so you'll have to keep your eyes open after each and every Phase of the event starts! PS. Group maps / mini games are not within the 1st Phase thats why you can't talk to Captain Ravenbeard yet.

We already forwarded feedback gathered feedback which resulted in yesterday changes (see Patchday Notes).

I've entered the 1st Raid Map when it was active (before changes) and I've done 420 000 000 damage in one go so it shouldn't be that hard - don't forget the event just started!

Yes, there is a limit, and it seems to be around 5 map radius as I personally saw an NPC within 22/2 while being in 50/3.

Please make sure this quest is active on your acount and open the Quest Log window - now follow the coordinates listed within the box from top to the bottom, as you need to visit these maps in a certain order for the X mark to appear.

I am not able to use "The Genie Lamp" - possible overlap?

 

Rymar , not sure what your shooting and since we can buy a lot of skull ammo ... im on 27m...

Also i agree with Doom and he buff you do for yourself go after you leave the map or randomly... if you sink , the HP repairs only 500 and also gets stuck on maps

 

What is the headhunter daily ranking counting for? same goes for the master of skull? What is the criteria?

Maybe the actual gameplay is just decoding the forum FAQ with whats actually happening in the game. Please, let us volunteer in fixing the FAQ, this is sadly getting too confusing

You need to do this map several times to get this part of the event completion done. Keep trying pirate and don't give up!

In order to use the Lamp you have to:

- Be between maps 41/1 - 49/1
- The server can't have Gate of Elements Open
- Your account needs to be at least of level 43

Please be aware that the Lamp action item is NOT related to the event.

Hi Rymar

been in twice now and im only up to 66M damage , this means for me to complete it , I will need to enter a load of times and be available throughout the week , either were all missing something in how the damage works , granted i only have 600 cannons , but something seems wrong , also based on my current damage , i dont even think with the days it will be possible.

 

78 mill now , 2 times in there. Looks like I need to do this map 38-40 times. What looked like 2000 ships shooting could hardly see the damage areas and lost the target because I had to sail out to repair . then got sunk by the damage areas as they spawned underneath the massive blob I was trying to sail into again..

 

offer souls: I click on event ticker nothing happens, curseds stay the same?

The event just begun and there most likely will be some changed applied to it, be patient! Not everything can or should be done on day 1.

There is nothing that you are missing ¬Se7enSeas¬ I guess this is just the difference in ship size, that's it.

Souls can be offered only when the event ticker say so.

When that's possible you can press and offer a soul - after that you need to wait for the timer to hit 0.

The event ticker have three phases:

• Cooldown (6 hours between raid map doors are open again)
• Offering (where you can sacrafice your souls)
• Entry (appear once Offering phase ended - in order to access raid you need to press on the event ticker)
