Ahoy pirates. I have been away from SF for years and came back recently. The game is so changed as to be unrecognizable at times. I have read about the Captains League (it is such a longggg post!) and still don't understand a word of it. Also - Submarines?? Are these only in Atlantis or are they all over the maps? No idea how they work. And the Crafting and Reclamation stations, how do I upgrade my cannons? I tried but it does not seem to work. Followed the directions (very confusing btw!) to no avail. Also, it used to be that when you activated buffs from your items a little icon would show in the upper left corner of my screen. Now, I can activate gunpowder and see the icon, but when I try to activate armor plates, no icon appears. Has it been changed to only being able to activate a single buff at a time? Also, I have looked all through the SF Bible Index for explanations of various Buffs, etc. and can't find anything to explain how they work. "Blackmore", for instance, does not seem to appear anywhere, as well as many other buffs, so I don't even know what they would do or why/how I should use them. Sorry for the long post here, but I am pretty lost. I'd like to re-fire my pirate career, but help is needed. Thanks for any assistance :)

    Hi welcome back,

Check Road to atlantis quest lines - they give you weaponslots. (doesn't really have to do anything with atlantis as far as I see).
Levels can give you also weaponslots.
Submarines can be used on normal map yes. To unlock more torpedo launchers etc, you'll have to go to atlantis and do the quests there. A lot of dailies quests. (quest that have to be redone each 24h).
Captain league is prety hard I don't understand it myself.
About the other questions I can't really help - others can.

    good luck!

    Ahoy Tergrinder!

    Welcome back Pirate!

What part of the Captain League you do not understand? It would be best if you wrote all things down in questions so either we, or your fellow pirates would give you a hand in better understanding this matter! (-:

Submarines can be used within both areas, surface and the Atlantis. In order to become a submarine (to unlock such content) you are require to have a ship first (not full but some areas will be blocked if you do not own a ship).

Regarding Crafting, most of the cannons require in-game currency + cannon of the lower level + higher level upgrade recipe = higher level cannon.

If you have any questions on that part fire away!

NOTE: Do not mess with Reclamation station as any mistake made within this area are permanent. These cannot be reversed.

Status bar is showing all buffs and action items you've got, in order to make it bigger simply turn on Options -> Start Configurator and press and hold on the while square - so you can adjust it.

Blackmore? Do you mean Black Fire? If so then this is an Atlantean action item which can be found here ->

If you have any further questions fire away!
