Account Security​

Never give your account details to anyone else! Nobody in our Support or Moderator Teams needs your log in data in order to help you! Every player who wants to change the log in data or the e-mail address of a game account will have to confirm these changes in such an e-mail.

Securing Your Account

When you register for a game, enter a valid e-mail address.​

If you do not confirm the link, your game account will NOT be protected against account theft.

Changing Your Login Data

To change your password or your e-mail address. Open your e-mail mailbox and confirm the link we send to you. Afterwards, the changes to your account will become active. When you change your e-mail address, we will send a confirmation e-mail to both your old AND your new e-mail address.

This may sound a bit complicated, but it really isn’t! These security measures protect your account from misuse, so for your own sake, you should be careful with your data and actively protect your account.

To change your data, follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the Ship Overview. This can be found by clicking on the Ship at the top of your screen.

2. The "Ship Overview" screen will then appear. Press the "Edit Account Data" button located to the bottom right of the Ship Overview section.

3. A new window will then appear in your browser where you can change your password.

4. Select which other information you would like to change and follow the instructions:

Password: Allows you to change your password.

E-mail: Allows you to change your email.

Newsletter: Allows you to opt in or out of the Seafight Newsletter.

Language: Allows you to set the language of the security section.

Birthdate: Allows you to change the birthday which is associated with the account.​
