    Battle of the Titans 2016

Event from July 14th until July 26th 2016

The combatants, Team Gaia and Team Ouranos, have returned to the Seas of Seafight for - once again - to fight for the glory of being the mightiest on the seven seas.

Battle of the Titans 2016 features the following:

    · 2 ship designs
    · 2 new pets
    · event Quests
    · Event Chests
    · Oracle of Delphi (“Wrecks”)
    · MEGA-server Ranking lists (1 per phase & 1 for the event)

    The event will

    · start at 12:00 noon on July 14th
    · end at 12 noon on July 26th

The event will be conducted in 5 phases – each from 12:00 noon until 12:00 noon on the following dates:

    Phase 1: July 14th - July 17th
    Phase 2: July 17th - July 19th
    Phase 3: July 19th - July 21th
    Phase 4: July 21th - July 23th
    Phase 5: July 23th - July 26th

The Black Market will be open until the end of July 29th.

All times are Local Server Time.

The players on each server will have to decide which team, they want to support.

Join Team Gaia to beat Team Ouranos

Join Team Ouranos to beat Team Gaia

The event ships will participate in the battles, but will only shoot on ships from the opposing team.

First of all you need to choose which team to support.

Green for team Gaia or Red for Team Ouranos.

Once you have chosen which team to support, you can gain reputation points for your own team by sinking event ships from the opposing team.

The event ships from the different factions will fight against each other, and players have to support event ships from their “own color” to help winning each phase.

When there is a "Battle of the Titans" happening, (a fight between admirals), players can join the fight and support their own faction by shooting/sinking enemies - PvE or PvP.

At the end of each phase, the top supporters from each team will be rewarded.

Once the prizes have been awarded, the points for that phase will be set to 0.

A new ranking will start for the next phase, where you once again can choose which team to support!

During this event, you will find 8 different event ships sailing on the seven seas!

    Titans of Gaia
    · Rhea…: Maps 16-20
    · Theia..: Maps 06-15
    · Phoibe: Maps 02-05
    o Gaia Defender: Maps 02 – 20

    Titans of Ouranos
    · Kronos……: Maps 16-20
    · Hyperion..: Maps 06-15
    · Okeanos…: Maps 02-05
    o Ouranos Warrior: Maps 02 – 20
You must shoot the event ships in the map range that matches your pirate level.
You will get NO REWARDS, if you shoot them from a lower level range!

Gaia Defender and Ouranos Warrior can both be shot with gold ammunition.

Rhea, Theia and Phoibe (for Team Gaia) as well as Kronos, Hyperion and Okeanos (for Team Ouranos) must be shot with elite ammunition.

Kraken ammo causes much more damage than any other ammunition.

If you want to change your allegiance you can do so by counteracting the reputation points you have already gained by shooting your own team’s NPCs. By doing that you will lose reputation points with them until you hit 0 and eventually start gaining points for the other team.

    Gaia Defender & Ouranos Warrier
    · Depending on damage caused => XP and ammunition or crystals
    · Last shot => 1 Reputation point

    Rhea (L 16-20), Thea(L 06-15) and Phoibe (L 02-05)
all carry same type of treasures, but have different sizes of cargo. They reward af follows:
    · Depending on damage caused, (min. 1% dmg) => XP, pearls, Platon’s Coins and Reputation points
    · Most damage => ELP
Kronos (L 16-20), Hiperion(L 06-15) and Okeanos (L 02-05) all carry same type of treasures, but have different sizes of cargo. They reward af follows:
    · Depending on damage caused, (min. 1% dmg) => XP, pearls, Solon’s Coins and Reputation points
    · Most damage => ELP
When you are fighting the Titans, they will - at certain points - call minions (defenders/warriors) to their aid.

Shooting these minions will – if you inflict more than 5% damage - give you the chance to win:

    · Depending on damage caused => Pearls, coins
    · Most damage => 1 soul*, Reputation points
    · Last shot => 1 soul*, Reputation points

    * Cursed OR radiant, depending on which team you supported

You will find two different Quest Givers, one for each team, and they can be found in a Safe Haven!

Cassandra is the Quest Giver for Team Gaia and is located in the Safe Havens on the west side harbors.

    Ajax
is the Quest Giver for Team Ouranos. and is located in the Safe Havens on the west side harbors – and in map 1/4.

You are only able to do the quests for the team you are supporting.

If you switch teams during a quest, it will be aborted, but then you are able to start the quests for your new team.

You need to have at least 1 reputation points to start the quests. We need to see your “colors”, so if you have 0 reputation points you are unable to do any of the quests from either team.

There will be new quests for each of the 5 phases. None of them will be repeatable.

You will find Event Treasure Chests.

Event Chests you can open with Event Keys. They can be bought on the Black Market.
In the Chests you will find many useful items, like ammunition, crystals and Event Keys.

You will also find some “statuettes”,
    Oracle of Delphi.

    Oracle of Delphi
    must be shot with harpoons.

If you cause the most damage, you can win items like crystals, gems for pet or ship, cannons or ammo.

There will be two types of ranking lists:

    · Phase-ranking rewards top players from both teams at the end of each phase
    · Event-ranking rewards the players from the team which won the whole event

    Definition of “phase”

A phase is one of the five smaller fractions, combining this event, during which you are supporting one of the two Titans. Details are shown at the beginning of this FAQ.
To get rewarded from the phase-ranking, you must be a top player in your team.

    Definition of “winning team”

When all five phases, (the whole event), has come to an end, the overall winners must be found.

The winning team is the team, Gaia or Ouranos, which won the most phases. The winning team must have won 3, 4 or all 5 phases. The order doesn’t matter – just the team that won a minimum of 3 games.

To get rewarded from the event-ranking, you must have supported the winning team - and at least during 3 of the phases, they won.

If the team “only” managed to win 3 phases, you will need to have supported them during those 3 respective phases.

At the end of each phase you will receive the following rewards:

    Phase-RankReward
    1st1 Libra Bonus Map
    10 Firestorm cannons
1 Team badge of the team you supported
    600 Souls (Cursed OR Radiant)

    100 Souls (Cursed OR Radiant)
Players from the phase-winning team will receive the double amount of souls mentioned above, and additionally they will receive 1 team-point for the phase-ranking.

All players will receive either cursed or radiant souls depending on the supported team.

    Event-rank

At the end of the event all players, who have received at least 3 team-points for the winning team, will receive 14 days of Queen’s Legacy.

Cursed and Radiant Souls can be used to purchase items in the Black Market!

The Black Marked offers a selection of different items, including Ship designs and 2 new pets. Other items available during the event include Kraken Poison Ammo, Event Keys and a range of Buff Items.
