Battle of the Titans​

Event from August 3rd until August 14th 2017

Battle of the Titans features the following:

. Two factions at war (Gaia vs Ouranos)
· Battles with Gaia Defender, Seed of Ruin, Root of Carnage, Rhea, Ouranos Warrior, Embers of Destruction, Fires of Pompeii and Kronos
· Daily ranking for each faction
· Three new designs
· Event chests and Oracles of Delphi
· Event quests​

The event will

. start at 12 noon on August 3rd
· end at 12 noon on August 14th
· Black market close at the end of August 15th​

All times in Local Server Time

There are two factions at war with each other:

Gaia and Ouranos.​

Gaia is led by Cassandra and Ouranos by Ajax.

Radiant Souls are only obtainable if the player has reputation with Gaia and Cursed Souls if the player has reputation with the Ouranos.

You will be able to collect reputation for those factions by sinking enemy NPC Ships and doing quests for the respective side. It is only possible to have a positive amount of reputation for one of the factions.

There will be one daily ranking per faction counting the ranking points of the killed faction NPCs. If the sum of all ranking points of a faction beats a certain threshold that faction will have a buff the following day that will have increased spawns of NPCs.

Every other day the threshold is determined by the previous days sum of ranking points of that faction. (similar to the Civil War Event)

During the Battle of the Titans you will find two event ships sailing regularly on the seven seas:

· Gaia: Gaia Defender
· Ouranos: Ouranos Warrior​

You might also meet one of four Admirals:

· Gaia: Seed of Ruin and Root of Carnage
· Ouranos: Embers of Destruction and Fires of Pompeii​

Seed of Ruin and Embers of Destruction will spawn after a certain amount of Gaia Defender/Ouranos Warrior have been sunk.

Root of Carnage and Fires of Pompeii will spawn after a certain amount of Seed of Ruin/Embers of Destruction have been sunk and they battle against you with a special behavior:

· Every minute they spawn a zone that stuns every player in it again and again for a second. The zone starts with a small radius and grows in size to a certain maximum.
· When the zone has reached its maximum, every player in it receives a certain amount of damage depending on how many players stand in the zone.
· Both of them will prioritize attacking players who support the enemy faction.​

Rhea and Kronos will always spawn together on the same map once an hour.

They fight each other and every time they lost a certain amount of HP they will spawn minions - Titan Warrior and Titan Defender. As soon as Rhea or Kronos died, the other vanishes and drops a despawn loot (“Losing faction loot”), which does not include Pearls and EXP!

All Event NPCs can be found between maps level 2-30 and must be shot with elite ammunition.

The Battle of the Titans also includes the rewarding mechanism which will reward you depending on your gained reputation points. The more reputation points you have, the more reward you will receive incremental. The reputation ranges are:

· 0 (you will always just receive reputation here)
· 1-100
· 101-2500
· 2501-50000
· 50001+​

Gaia:
Gaia Defender:

Depending on damage caused => EXP and Reputation with Ouranos
You have a chance to receive Kraken Ammo and a small chance on pearls.
You also receive Cursed Souls when you have reached a certain amount of reputation points.​

Seed of Ruin:

Depending on damage caused => Pearls, EXP, Cursed Souls and Reputation with Ouranos​

Root of Carnage:

Depending on damage caused => Pearls, EXP, Cursed Souls and Reputation with Ouranos

When you caused at least 3% of the total damage => Hourglass and a small chance to receive the new ship design “Force of Natura”.​

Rhea:

Depending on damage caused (only if Rhea get sunk before Kronos!) => Pearls, EXP and Reputation with Ouranos
Most damage => ELP
Despawn loot (“Losing faction loot”) => Platon’s Coins
You also receive a certain amount of Platon’s Coins when you attacked Rhea at least once.​

Ouranos:
Ouranos Warrior:

Depending on damage caused => EXP and Reputation with GaiaYou have a chance to receive Kraken Ammo and a small chance on pearls.You also receive Radiant Souls when you have reached a certain amount of reputation points.​

Embers of Destruction:

Depending on damage caused => Pearls, EXP, Radiant Souls and Reputation with Gaia​

Fires of Pompeii:

Depending on damage caused => Pearls, EXP, Radiant Souls and Reputation with Gaia

When you caused at least 3% of the total damage => Hourglass and a small chance to receive the new ship design “Brimstone Battler”.​

Kronos:

Depending on damage caused (only if Kronos get sunk before Rhea!) => Pearls, EXP and Reputation with Gaia

Most damage => ELP
Despawn loot (“Losing faction loot”) => Solon’s Coins
You will also receive a certain amount of Solon’s Coins when you attacked Kronos at least once.​

Titan Minion (Titan Warrior and Titan Defender):

Depending on damage caused => Pearls and Reputation

Last shot on the NPC => Extra Reputation and one Soul
Most damage => Extra Reputation and one Soul​

You will always just receive negative reputation points when shooting on the NPCs of the faction where you belong to.

Kraken ammo causes much more damage than any other ammunition.

The designs Brimstone Battler, Force of Nature and Specter of Naxoscome come with gems.

Brimstone Battler (Possible reward from Fires of Pompeii):

· Polished Rhodolite: 16% Boarding bonus
· Polished Rose Quartz: 8% Hitchance
· Immaculate Azurite: -7,5% HP repair duration, +30% HP repair value
· Immaculate Aquamarine: 15% Damage reduction​

Force of Nature (Possible reward from Root of Carnage):

· Polished Coral: 16% Critical damage
· Polished Ruby: 16% Cannon damage
· Polished Lapislazuli: 80.000 HP
· Polished Sapphire: 80.000 VP​

Specter of Naxos (Black Market):

· Twinkling Rose Quartz: 8,5% Hitchance
· Twinkling Coral: 17% Critical damage
· Twinkling Lapislazuli: 85.000 HP
· Twinkling Sapphire: 85.000 VP​

Daily Ranking (once per faction): Points are achieved by sinking the faction NPCs.

· 1st place: 10 Firestorm Cannons, 15.000 Kraken Ammo, Libra Bonusmap
· 2nd – 5th: 7 Firestorm Cannons, 10.000 Kraken Ammo, Aquarius Bonusmap
· 6th – 10th: 5 Firestorm Cannons, 5.000 Kraken Ammo, Taurus Bonusmap
· 11th – 100th: 3 Firestorm Cannons, 5.000 Kraken Ammo
· 101st – 200th: 1 Firestorm Cannon, 5.000 Kraken Ammo
· 201st – 300th: 5.000 Kraken Ammo​

Each of both factions have a Quest Giver:

· Gaia: Cassandra
· Ouranos: Ajax

The Quest Giver will challenge you with two quest series to solve. The second quest series will be available after you collected at least 500 Reputation of your belonging faction. The last quest of each series can be solved more than once and reset every 24 hours (from event start).

You will find Event Treasure Chests and Oracle’s of Delphi on maps 2-1 to 30-1.

Event Chests you can open with Event Keys. They can be bought on the Black Market.

In the Chests you will find many useful items, like Kraken ammunition, Legba Amulets, Tritons Benelovence, Pumpkin Power and some other action items. You also have a high chance to receive an additional Radiant Soul or Cursed Souls.

The Oracle of Delphi must be shot with Harpoons. Items such as Kraken Ammo, Crystals, and Cannons can be obtained from the Oracle of Delphi, if you make the last shot!

Radiant and Cursed Souls can be used to purchase designs, pets and items in the Black Market! You will be able to buy the new ship design "Specter of Naxos”, but also various buffs, Event keys, Ammunition and more. Coins can be used to purchase the Reputation Points booster at the Black Market.

Radiant and Cursed Souls will be exchanged for in-game items. Specific details will be revealed nearer the end of the event. The Event Keys will be replaced by normal chest keys at a ratio of 1:1.


Platon’s and Solon’s Coins will just be replaced by Gold at a ratio of 1:1 in order to remove them from the accounts.
