This is "general feedback", to be passed on to the management team. I see multiple problems here, which include:

    (1) We are told not to discuss cheating in the forum, but to "report it to Support". Well, I have reported it to Support over the last 16 years, with very little ever done. I'm a veteran player, and can recognize botting almost without fail. Yet, on one player I reported, it took Bigpoint 5 years to finally debuff the player! And Support's policy of telling us "we can't tell you the results of our investigation" is a deliberate attempt to hide the company's failures in this regard.

    (2) I posted recently in the thread entitled "The Njord Saga!", a comment defending my friend's so-called (and unintentional) "spamming" in a post. Now here is the problem:

    Ahoy Pirates!

Please stick to this thread subject: The Njord Saga!

If any of you would like to file a report against a moderator please contact Support.

Further comments not related to the event will be deleted.

My comment was deleted **before** he posted the above! As was a short comment I made after the posting. Well, that follows suit with the way this game is run. Trying to suppress comments you don't like is not going to win you new customers (or keep current ones, either). I've spent thousands on this game, but drastically reduced it quite some time back. (As I'm sure others have). This is partly why!

    (3) I reported in Global Chat a player "spamming" Chat by posting multiple consecutive sinks. Guess what - the moderator blew it off! She said: "You guys are going to behave now, right"? So why are we encouraged to report players, when we can see right then and there in Global Chat that they are going to get off without punishment?

My point - (which hopefully, will be passed along to management, and not deleted) - is it would behoove Bigpoint to do a 180-degree flip with players, and review these things, both with their Support staff, and with all moderators.
