Boarding Karkinos

    Hello fellow pirates,

    For the quest "Twice Bitten" I have to:
    - Board 1x Karkinos (0/1)
    - Collect 1x Serpents Shank and teturn to Sigurd Lundgren. (0/1)
    - Return to the quest-giver Sigurd Lundgren

    After camping Karkinos for a bit and wasting my premium ammo the boarding icon finally popped up. However, upon proceeding to board Karkinos nothing happened, lateron I recieved a pop-up with the message "Boarding is on cooldown" or something similiar. Nevertheless I still recieved the "Serpents Shank" upon killing Karkinos.

    Could someone explain how I am supposed to complete this quest when I am not able to board Karkinos? Kind of frustrating that I wasted so much premium ammunition for nothing..

    check your boarding value, to board Karkinos you need ... (check NPC page in Bible)

    I can only find information about the NPC, nothing regarding the boarding requirements.
    Am I missing something?

    Ahoy,

    Your fellow pirate is correct this sounds as though you did not have enough Boarding Value to successfully board the Karkinos.

    In your quote you have placed above you can see the Karkinos has a 15,000 Boarding Value, this means that to successfully board the Karkinos and for it to count towards your quest you will need to have a Boarding Value higher than that amount.

    The     Boarding bible entry contains a lot of useful information in regards to Boarding, including how to increase your Boarding Value.
