    what should I be hitting a deep sea lurker with 242 world breakers and pain bringers and confetti ammo. I am only doing 5k or 6k and 8k on a good hit

    5k? Nah something's wrong there...
    235k with 236 lvl 4 and lvl 5 worlds
    So I assume you should hit at 200k approximately

    just check your cannons, pet, etc. and if that dosen't work logging out and in again often works.

    I suggest you increase your hit probability because apparently the event NPC:s have dodge on them.
