Can't repair ship, HP repair dose not work.

    I was in the Sunburst map and waiting for the server restart. I had full HP and was repairing VP. After the server restart I was back in Map 9-1 with NO HP or VP. Now I am back in Safe Haven after crawling back from 9-1 and can only repair VP....can not repair HP. I have restarted a half dozen time and still cannot repair HP. This game can be so maddening some times.

    I tried something and it worked. I left safe haven and went into 10-1 and had my ship sunk. When brought back to the sea, the repair button was blinking this time and now it works. I do not understand why this happened but thankfully this worked. This thread is done.

    this is actually quite a simple answer. although it's one that is often forgotten. hopefully texas doesn't mind me explaining. the way bigpoint programmed the repair system, you cannot actually repair your ship when it is below 1000 hp. if it is above 1000 hp then it should work. if you are not a premium member, the repair actually costs pearls. if you did not have any pearls at the time then your ship can't repair because you havn't paid the repair cost. that being said, there is also something to note in terms of any event starting. When a new event starts, bigpoint runs conversion scripts to convert the currency from the previous event into a default reward. i.e. remaining cursed souls would be converted into the ammunition that was used in that event.

    When these scripts run, an effect of this is that everything on the sea page stops functioning, can't shoot or get shot, this also affects repairing. you cannot repair while the script is running, regardless of the hp you have. this is normal and is likely the most plausible thing that happened to you today. it usually resolves within 5-15 minutes.

    If it wasn't that, then check pearl supply, whether you're premium or not, your hp at the time to make sure it's above 1k or even that you have a carpenter. glad to see it resolved itself though.
