Captains chests on event NPCs

Hi. There are conditions to loot that chests from event NPC's?
I have some captains chests on my depot, but I didn't loot any chests from event NPC's.

There are no special conditions to look Captain Chests from the event NPCs, these are simply "rare".

Okay. That's weird, because while I had chests on my depot, I did't loot anyone... but, after I opened all my chests, I started to loot them from NPC's.

Off-topic: By the way, what if I open a chest (that one that you pick up on water) and I got nothing?

Do you mean event chests? Hmmm, if so I would contact Support they should be able to tell you what you've got or give you your key back.
