    1.png
Sacrifice Vanhu Crates into the Cauldron of Saba to receive some of the most powerful items in the game. Every Vanhu Crate that you sacrifice into the Cauldron of Saba grants a chance to win one of the final reward packages. Sacrificing more Vanhu Crates increases your opportunity to be a winner!

    Opening the Cauldron of Saba:

The Cauldron of Saba can be found by opening the Cauldron when in the Safe Haven. This can be done in two ways; the first way is by clicking the Safe Haven icon and then selecting the Cauldron from the drop-down menu.

    2.png
The second way is by clicking Nadira Boro's icon when in the Safe Haven.

    3.png

A window shall open, which shows the Cauldron of Aruba. At the top of the window two tabs are displayed, clicking the second, Cauldron of Saba, will switch to the Cauldron of Saba.

    4.png

    Cauldron of Saba:

The image below is the default image that will open when you have opened the Cauldron of Saba.

    5.png
In the lower left-hand corner you will be able to see how many Vanhu Crates you have. Vanhu Crates are the currency which is used in the Cauldron of Saba - to be able to receive and win prizes you will need to have some Vanhu Crates.

Vanhu Crates can be purchased in the payment area while the Cauldron of Saba is active.

    6.png
To the right of the Vanhu Crates you can see a drop-down menu with different number options. Changing the selection of this number determines how many Vanhu Crates you will throw into the Cauldron of Saba each time.

As an example, if 1 is selected you will throw 1 Vanhu Crate into the Cauldron of Saba and receive a reward for 1 Vanhu Crate. If 100 is selected you will throw 100 Vanhu Crates into the Cauldron of Saba and earn the rewards for 100 Vanhu Crates.

    7.png
To throw Vanhu Crates into the Cauldron of Saba it couldn't be simpler - simply press the green "Start the ritual" button in the bottom right!

    Instant Rewards:

For each Vanhu Crate you throw into the Cauldron of Saba you will receive an Instant Reward.

You can see a list of the possible Instant Rewards by clicking the "Direct" subheading on the right-hand side, listed under the "Rewards" heading.

Various Instant Rewards are available, including varying types and values of Ammunition, Crew Members, Bonus Maps, Action Items and more!

Please be aware that the rewards shown in the image below are just an example and may differ than the potential instant rewards in-game.

    9.png
Once you have pressed the "Start the ritual" button to throw your Vanhu Crates into the Cauldron of Saba, any rewards you earn will be shown in the "Loot" box.

Please be aware that with each throw, any items you are rewarded with of the same type are grouped together.

This means that for example if you were to receive 5,000 Heartbreaker ammunition two times in one throw, it would show in the Loot box as 10,000 Heartbreaker.

This also applies when different values of the same item are earned, so for example if you win 5,000 Heartbreaker twice and 3,500 Heartbreaker in the same throw, it will appear as 13,500 Heartbreaker in the Loot box.

    10.png
You can clear the Loot box so that your rewards for your last throw or throws are not shown by pressing the red "Clear list" button in the bottom right of the screen, or alternatively, closing and reopening the Cauldron of Saba.

    Milestones and Milestone Rewards:

When throwing Vanhu Crates into the Cauldron of Saba, you can reach some milestones. Upon reaching milestones, you can earn extra rewards and additional chances to win the final prize - more on this later!

Firstly, you need to make sure the "Milestone" subheading is clicked on the right-hand side under the "Rewards" heading. This section contains all the information about milestones and milestone rewards.

    11.png
The first bit of information we see is in how many more Vanhu Crates need to be used in a ritual before you reach your next bonus.

The wording informs you of exactly how many more Vanhu Crates need to be used, the the graphic below showing the amount of Vanhu Crates thrown at the last Milestone, a progress bar which increases with each Vanhu Crate used, and the total number of Vanhu Crates that need to be thrown to reach your next Milestone.

In the example below, as there was no previous Milestone, the graphic starts at 0. As we have thrown 1 Vanhu Crate the progress bar has filled up slightly, and we can see it needs 5 to reach the end and the next Milestone. Above the graphic we can see that a total of 4 are required in order to reach that next Milestone.

    12.png
Underneath that, we can see the wording "Bonus Chances". This shows you how many additional chances you receive once you have reached the next Milestone, to receive the final reward - more on the final reward later!

In the example below, we would receive 4 additional bonus chances to win the final reward, should we reach the next Milestone, which is a total of 40 Vanhu Crates thrown; we would need to use another 28 to attain that.

    13.png
Scrolling further down, we can see a list of all the milestones and milestone rewards for the Cauldron of Saba.

For each Milestone you reach you will be rewarded with some additional items. You can hover your mouse over these items to see the name of the item.

In the examples below, you can see when 5 Vanhu Crates have been used you will receive 75 Agwe's Armor Plates, 100 Black Gunpowder and 315 Crowns. Similarly, when you throw in 12 Vanhu Crates you will receive 5 Dragonfires, 20 Super Armor Plates and 400 Crowns.

Please be aware however, this is just an example and these rewards may differ than the rewards in-game.

    14.png
There is also some other information provided when viewing the full list of Milestones; "bonus chances earned".

For some Milestones you can earn bonus chances to win the final reward - more on the final reward later.

In the examples below, you can see when 5 Vanhu Crates have been used you will not gain any bonus chances, however, when you throw in 12 Vanhu Crates, you will receive 1 bonus chance to receive a final reward.

Please be aware however, this is just an example and the number of bonus chances shown in this FAQ may differ than the bonus chances available in-game.

    15.png
Finally, if you continue to scroll down to the bottom of this section once you have completed a Milestone, you will be able to see the Milestones you have already achieved and the rewards you have gained.

    16.png

    Final Rewards:

For each Vanhu Crate you have thrown into the Cauldron of Saba and for each bonus chance you have acquired from the Milestones, you will have 1 chance to win a final reward.

The winners of the final rewards are randomly selected from all of your chances, and the chances of other players.

The top prizes are drawn first, with the second best prizes being drawn after all the top prizes have been drawn, etc.

If you are lucky enough to have won a final reward, all of your chances will be removed from the Cauldron of Saba - meaning that you will not be able to win a second final reward.

Please note that while having more chances does increase your odds of receiving a final reward, it is very possible that one of your chances is not randomly selected - meaning you will not gain a final reward.

You can see how many chances you have entered into the Cauldron of Saba by viewing the "Total chances earned" amount located to the bottom left of the window. This number includes both the Vanhu Crates you have thrown in, and any bonus chances you have acquired from the Milestones.

    17.png
By clicking on the "Final" subheading located to the right-hand side of the window under the "Results" heading you will be able to see all the possible final rewards.

The top prize is located at the top, with the second best prize below the top, the third below the second, etc. You can scroll down on this section to see all of the possible final rewards.

Each prize can only be given to a certain amount of players, the amount of players that can win each prize can be seen in the "Rewards are given to # Pirates" text at the top of the prize.

Underneath that text you can see a series of rewards, these are the item(s) the player will receive should they be lucky enough to win that final reward. Hovering your mouse over the images will show you the name of the item that can be won.

Please be aware that the image below is just an example of the final rewards and may differ than the ones that can be found in-game.
