Civil War!​

The Civil War Event from 15th November until 21st November

The Civil War Event features the following:

• Two factions at war
• 2 normal NPCs, 2 Admirals, 2 Admirals of Admirals
• Daily Ranking for the faction NPCs
• Arena with daily event ranking
• Two new designs
• Event chests and wrecks
• Two quest series per faction and a daily arena quest

The event starts at 12 noon on November 15th and ends at 12 noon on November 21st.

The black market closes at the end of November.

All times are Local Server Time (LST).


There are two factions at war with each other; Dalton's Armada and Regent's Fleet.

Dalton's Armada is led by Jane Dalton and Walter Buckingham and Regent's Fleet by Roger Flynt and Mortimer Gray.

The regular NPCs that drive around the map attack NPCs and players that support the opposing faction.

Solon Coins are only obtainable if the player has reputation with Dalton's Armada and Plato's Coins if the player has reputation with the Regent's Fleet.

You will be able to collect reputation for those factions by sinking enemy NPC Ships and doing quests for the respective side. It is only possible to have a positive amount of reputation for one of the factions.

There will be two separate rankings counting the ranking points of the killed faction NPCs. If the sum of all ranking points of a faction beats a certain threshold that faction will have a buff the following day that will have increased spawns of NPCs.

Every other day the threshold is determined by the previous days sum of ranking points of that faction. (similar to Cassiopeia Event)


Event Ships:

During the Civil War you will find two 2 event ships sailing regularly on the seven seas:

• Dalton's Armada: Tiantang Zhanshi
• Regent's Fleet: Monarchs Marauder

You might also meet one of four Admirals:

• Dalton's Armada: Bloody Buccaneer, Walter Buckingham
• Regent's Fleet: Regents Revenge, Roger Flynt

All Event NPCs can be found between maps level 5-40 and must be shot with elite ammunition.

Roger Flynt and Walter Buckingham have a special behavior:

• Walter Buckingham will prioritize attacking players with a lot of reputation points for Regents Fleet. Every 30 seconds he will stun 5 players for 5 seconds.
• Roger Flynt will prioritize attacking players with a lot of reputation points for Dalton’s Armada. He will also infatuate (like you know from Siren NPC) 5 players for 5 seconds.

Both of them will despawn and reward you when they have 10% of their HP amount left.

Skull Ammunition causes much more damage against the Event Ships than any other ammunition

Rewards from the Event Ships:

The Civil War event includes a rewarding mechanism which will reward you depending on your reputation points. The more reputation points you have, the more reward you will receive incremental.

The Reputation Point phases are the following:

1 - 100
101 - 2,500
2,501 - 100,000,000

• Dalton's Armada:
  • Tiantang Zhanshi:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Experience Points, Solon's Coins and Reputation with Regents Fleet, and also have a chance to win Pearls.
  • Bloody Buccaneer:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls, Experience Points, Solon's Coins, Reputation with Regents Fleet and a Chance to win the Regal Storm (design).
  • Walter Buckingham:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls, Experience Points, Solon's Coins, Reputation with Regents Fleet and a Chance to win the Wolfric's Warrior (design).
    • If you inflict a minimum of 3% damage of the HP amount you are rewarded with the Queen's Legacy.

• Regent's Fleet:
  • Monarchs Marauder:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Experience Points, Plato's Coins and Reputation with Daltons Armada, and also have a chance to win Pearls.
  • Regents Revenge:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls, Experience Points, Plato's Coins, Reputation with Daltons Armada and a Chance to win the Regal Storm (design).
  • Roger Flynt:
    • Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls, Experience Points, Plato's Coins, Reputation with Daltons Armada and a Chance to win the Wolfric's Warrior (design).
    • If you inflict a minimum of 3% damage of the HP amount you are rewarded with the Queen's Legacy.

Domination Arena:

The Event also includes a domination styled arena map with no access fee.

You can access the Arena by speaking to Teresa Jones in any of the safe harbours.

Every team has five team members.
After joining the map your design will change (it`s just a visual exchange, your gem stats will stay) and you will receive a buff. You will also note three NPCs on the map which can be conquered by destruction. The team members need to shoot the monster to kill it.
On destruction a new NPC spawns that belongs to the team.

The NPC will attack players by spawning small damage zones under a player. The zone will stay for some seconds and will cause damage to all players of the enemy team.

Each NPC gives points for the belonging team. That means the more NPCs the team has the faster the team get points.

Each minute the team will also get a certain amount of points for each NPC the team has.

The team that has reached 1000 Points first wins the arena.

Points are also awarded for killing players of the enemy team.

Domination Arena Rewards:

After you have finished the arena fight, you will be rewarded with Pearls, Event Keys and Ranking Points:

• Best player of winning team: 5 Ranking Points
• Other players of winning team: 3 Ranking Points
• Losing team: 1 Ranking Point

New Ship Designs:

There are two new ship designs for this event.

Night Dreamer (Black market):

• Unblemished Ruby: 22% Cannon Damage
• Unblemished Garnet: 22% Harpoon Damage
• Precious Lapislazuli: 105,000 Hitpoints
• Precious Sapphire: 105,000 Voodoo Points

Queen’s Favor (Ranking reward):

• Unblemished Rose Quartz: 11% Hit Probability
• Unblemished Coral: 22% Critical Damage
• Precious Sapphire: 105,000 Voodoo Points
• Precious Aquamarine: 21% Damage Prevention

The fall back rewards for the new design in the daily ranking are 2 Firestorm cannons level 3.

Quests:

Each faction has two Quest Givers:

• Regents Fleet: Roger Flynt and Mortimer Gray
• Dalton's Armada: Jane Dalton and Walter Buckingham

If you visit the Quest Giver in a Safe Haven, they will challenge you with two series (per faction) of quests to solve. The last of each quest series can be solved more than once and reset every 24 hours. There is also an Arena Quest available which can be repeated every 24 hours.

Event Chests:

Event Chests can be opened with Event Keys. They can be bought on the Black Market.

In the Event Chests you will find many useful items, like Firestorm lvl 0 cannons, ammunition, Triton's Benevolence and some other action items.

Shipwrecks:

The Shipwrecks must be shot with Harpoons. Items such as Skull Ammunition, Crystals and Cannons can be obtained from the wrecks!

Shooting the Shipwreck "claims" the monster, you may only claim one Shipwreck at a time, shooting another will switch your claim. When killed the player who has the active claim on the Shipwreck will get the rewards.

Solon's and Plato's Coins:

Solon's and Plato's Coins can be used to purchase designs and items in the Black Market! You will be able to buy various buffs, Event Keys, Ammunition and more.


Post Event Compensation:

Solon's and Plato's Coins will be exchanged for in-game items.

The Event Keys will be replaced by normal treasure chest keys.
