    Is it against the rules to post the rules of chat? And also is it against the rule to self moderate?

    Please explain what you mean by self moderate ?

    The posting of the chat rules in chat is unnecessary and is not acceptable, these are posted across the forum for all players to review and it does not need a player to post them in chat.

    Self moderate, for example, if someone is breaking the rules and no mods are on, I simply post such rules in chat and let them know, If this is against the rules, why is it not in the "Chat rules" section. Furthermore, I can't fully understand why it would be against the rules.

    Sorry to say this would not be acceptable, the GTL has already stated this. The chat rules are for everyone to see in the forum.
