    This is regarding the downloadable client version for PCs;
    > is there some kind of trick to speed up the update on it?
    (because mine tends to take a few hours every time, which is mildly annoying)

    -- if it is due to bad internet / download speed, then well damn. too bad for me.

    Ahoy Pagan_Spirit!

    No, there is no trick to speed up the updating process - everything depends on your internet / pc.

    If a client is a problem for you - due to the things mentioned above - you can always stick to the browser version of the game ;) just remember to clear your browser cookies after each and every game restart / sync.
