Complaint Regarding Unfair Pricing Discrepancies for Seafight Game in the Balkans

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the unfair pricing policies observed for the Seafight game in the Balkans, particularly in Serbia. As a loyal player and consumer, it is disheartening to witness such blatant discrimination in pricing, especially when compared to other regions with similar economic standings.

Specifically, it has come to my attention that Turkey, a neighboring country with comparable economic power and a lower cost of living, where a significant 75% discount was applied to the game Seafight. This substantial reduction in pricing demonstrates a commendable effort to make the game more accessible and affordable for players in Turkey.

However, in Serbia, where economic conditions are akin to those in Turkey, players are subjected to exorbitant prices that remain unjustified and unaffordable for many. Such discriminatory pricing practices not only create a sense of inequality among players but also hinder access to entertainment and recreational activities for individuals in Serbia.

Furthermore, when considering the cost of living in Serbia compared to that in the European Union (EU), it becomes evident that the current pricing scheme for the Seafight game is grossly unfair. While prices in Serbia mirror those in the EU, it is important to note that the EU enjoys significantly higher salaries and lower living costs than Serbia. As such, expecting Serbian players to pay the same prices as those in the EU is inherently unjust and exacerbates the economic disparities between regions.

This discrepancy in pricing not only undermines the purchasing power of players in Serbia but also perpetuates inequality and reinforces the notion of a two-tiered gaming experience based on geographical location.

Therefore, I urge you to reconsider the pricing structure for the Seafight game in the Balkans, particularly in Serbia. Implementing fair and equitable pricing that takes into account the economic realities of the region will not only enhance player satisfaction but also promote inclusivity and accessibility for all.

This applies not only to Serbia but also to other Balkan countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro. There is official information on the Internet about average salaries, purchasing power parity, consumer price indexes, cost of living and so on, so you can freely compare that information with Turkey and other European Union countries.

Please explain to me how with an average salary of 600 euros in Serbia I can buy packs and be competitive with other players. What about rent, food, clothing, children...?

One more question. What about players using a vpn to get a discount?

Alas BP will take no action. They do not care that 1 nation gets a massive discount enabling an unfair advantage in the game. The amount of players that are actually from this nation and using other means ie vpn or the purchase of a ship setup with this nations currency warrants investigation, this will never happen. A solution was proposed by players as most debit cards are 'geolocated', not suprisingly BP ignored this method. BP staff are not allowed to discuss this differential only stating it is due to economic factors which you have mentioned. Any suspicions of ships not being of non native origin should be reported to support with supporting info. The paradox being only support have access to supporting information.
