I sure get tired of buying recipes with valuable currency during events, and then find I can't use the recipes! The latest are the "Level 6 Torpedo Guidance" recipes! This makes no sense.

    Hello there Pirate,

It may seem strange to have recipes for items not yet released however you could look at it in a positive way.

    A. It is a clue to what is being lined up for release soon.
    B. It gives you the opportunity to gather some useful recipes in preparation so that when they become available you have a head start.

The problem with that way of thinking is this game has some many facets to it, that if I don't use the recipe immediately, I either will forget I have it, or I have to check back every week or two to see if it can be used. The way these things are implemented is strange, and it's tough to keep up. And then - I accidentally found out there are Level 7 launchers available (despite no announcement), and so I thought ahead and asked if Level 7 thunderbolts were coming, and the answer was "No". Then, two days later, we got an announcement for "New Cannons"! (Technically, they aren't Level 7 thunderbolts, but give me a break)! Goodness - it's a mess. From now on, I'll just buy one recipe first and see if it works, before going any further. (I still don't know why you folks sell recipes that can't be used, even though the item is currently in play within the game. It's like the developers are only partially doing their jobs). Nevertheless - thank you for your time.
