It says it increases your "HP repair value". Is that to your own ship, or when you shoot healing ammo at your buddy? Thank you for your help.

I was funnily enough wondering the same thing yesterday. After looking into it, "HP repair value" refers to the amount of HP you repair every "tick". "Repair duration" is the length of time between every repair tick, so how long it takes for your "HP repair value" to activate every time.

"Maximum healing value" is what you should be looking out for when wanting to increase how much you heal others with repair cannons.

A-R-K-Y explains it very well in this post (keep in mind that gems have an extra 2 levels now): https://board-en.seafight.com/threads/max-repair-duration-and-repair-value.173998/

The maximum possible healing value can be found in the Seafight Bible -> General FAQ -> Maximum values: https://board-en.seafight.com/threads/maximum-values.171646/#post-520069

Hope this clears up the difference :)
