Curse of the Kraken​

The event starts at Thursday, 9th March at 12 noon and ends Tuesday, 14th March at 12 noon.

All times are local server times.

The Curse of the Kraken features the following:

• 1 NPC and 2 Admirals
• Event Chests
• Shipwrecks
• New Submarine Design: Tentacular Triumph
• Event Quests (1 normal and 4 daily)
• Event Ranking

General Info

Within this event you can find one NPC Progeny Alpha, and two admirals Tentacular Traitor and Krakaton.

Progeny Alpha spawns within the Atlantis Maps 1/1 - 4/2 every three hours in a large number.

Tentacular Traitor spawns within the surface maps 5 to 50/1 every four hours, and within Atlantis after defeating a number of Progeny Alpha.

Krakaton spawns within the Atlantis Maps 1/1 - 4/2 after all of the minions, Progeny Alpha, have been killed. As Krakaton is damaged, it shall spawn additional Progeny Alpha NPC’s, as well as attack players with damage and freeze zones.

Be careful not to get too close, as it will instantly kill you. ​

NPCs

• Progreny Alpha:
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and, either Pearls or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will receive Pearls.
  • The player who inflicts the last shot will receive either Blood of the Inya, Tritons Crown, Homing Mine, Dragonfire, Whirlpool, Hydrax II Torpedoes or Poison Torpedoes
• Tentacular Traitor:
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and, either Pearls or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will receive Pearls.
  • The player who inflicts the last shot will receive either Level 2 Submarine Cook, Mojo, or the Ship Design Krakenhunter (fallback Orichalkum)
• Krakaton:
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and, either Pearls or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will receive Pearls or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the last shot has a small chance to receive the submarine design Tentacular Triumph (fallback Krakenhunter or Orchicalkum).

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items, like Mojo, Worldbreaker Cannon Level 5, Hydrax II, Blood of the Inya or Bloodlust, among others. ​

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. The player who inflicts the most damage gets many useful items such as Mojo, Worldbreaker Cannons Level 5, Damask Harpoons, Taureau Amulets or Common Tools, among others. ​

The event ranking tracks most damage on Progeny Alpha and Krakaton, with the rewards (at the end of the event):​

There is 1 normal quest and 4 daily quests.

The daily quests are reset each day at 12 noon (local server time). ​

Description:

As expected, it has come to pass. Humanities meddling in the depths of the great Atlantis has spawned something so foul, that were it to surface I worry that and would survive. I seek more knowledge and the progeny are the key.
