    Death Fights Event

This event is a complete refactoring of the well-known Clash Event!

During the event you will be able to access a brand-new arena map on which two teams will be competing against each other. To access the arena map queue, simply use the Group Finder by clicking either on the new special event ticker or visiting Teresa Jones in one of the safe havens.

You can either enter the queue alone or invite mates. The queue will be filled with players across servers. As soon as a queue is full, it will be matched with the next completed queue. You will not be able to decide which team you join – your placement in a team will be assigned automatically upon arriving on map.

    Arena map

On the arena map, there will be a fight between two teams – Voodoo and Shaman!

All players of each team will look the same as they will be sporting the same design. But don’t be afraid – the gems are still active and will help you sink enemy team members. On the arena map, you will only see the HP and VP of all other players – no names or badges will be visible.

Your goal here is to sink the opposing team members in order to reduce the number of lives the team has! Each team has 15 lives which will be deducted when a team member dies. During a team death match, you cannot leave the arena map – if you log out, there will be no replacement to help your team out! When a player dies, he/she will respawn with full HP and VP in the original team spawn area of the arena map. Friendly fire is not possible, making sure that you are not able to attack your own team members with your damage cannons. But of course, it will be possible to heal your team members.

Each player collects arena points by killing members of the opposing team.

Arena points are given for the most damage inflicted and last shot fired – the last shot gives you more arena points.

Team points are calculated by adding together the number of arena points your team has collected thus far.
The lives and points are visible in a small window at the top of the search field which is shown below the player menu.

The new skull ammo does more damage inside the arena.

    New skull ammunition

A new ammo – skull ammunition – will be introduced with the Death Fights Event and it will

    offer the following features:

    · Special effect: 20% chance to trigger a "Stigmatized“ debuff

    · Increased damage inside the arena map!

    Stigmatized debuff …

The Stigmatized debuff reduces a player's ability to dodge rockets by 100%.

When a player has the Stigmatized debuff, there is a graphic shown on his/her ship, so other players can see if it's worth launching rockets at him/her.

What else will happen during the team death match?

When the team points reach certain margins (a set minimum number of points), a monster (NPC) from the opposing team spawns.

The monster can be shot by both teams. The monster will provide arena points and a powerful buff to the player who takes it down with the last shot. If there is already a monster on the map and another margin is reached, the second monster won’t spawn. The spawning of a monster will be announced with a message and a ping.

The arena fight ends when one team has no lives left.

When the arena fight is over, the participants get ranked according to the number of arena points and the winning team gets a bonus on top of their reward. There is a minimum number of points which need to be reached in order to receive any reward and to be placed in the ranking.

The arena points are the points used for the daily ranking.

    Event Ranking Rewards

Points can be obtained by winning arena fights or dealing the most damage or last shot to a player/monster inside the arena map. There will be daily rankings and one total ranking with the following rewards:
