Equipment disappeared

    I bought 10000 each of pistols, sabers and armor a couple of days ago. Today I went to check my pirates and found the entire cache of weapons, etc. is gone. Zero. How is that possible? I haven't boarded any of the event ships because my boarding level isn't high enough, so where did my equipment go...?

    I went out and bought 10000 more of each and re-equipped my pirates. Let's see how long it lasts this time...

    Have you been boarded by other players, recently? You will lose pirates and equipment that way.

    *Only buy the less costly Pirates and equipment for Gold m8, then providing you have enough boarding points you will board successfully and will only lose cheap easily affordable Gold items when boarded by bigger ships.

    That is all I have, gold pirates and equipment. Unfortunately, this does not seem to get me to a level high enough to board the event ships. I have been boarded a few times by other players, but I do not have a crew of 10,000 on duty, my boat mans 355 pirates. ALL my pirates disappeared after a couple of days, both those who were active and the over 9000 that were in "storage". This has never happened to me before and I have been playing 7 years... Do they now automatically re-man the bulwarks after suffering some losses? Even if so, being boarded 3 or 4 times would not kill over 10,000 pirates - right? Thank you Mariner for the suggestions :)

    Ahoy,

    Yes when pirates are killed in battle, more pirates are automatically equipped, along with equipment. The following has been taken from the     Boarding FAQ, which I recommend you take your time to read as it is full of useful information:

    You can see exactly how many pirates and equipment were lost for the last 10 Boardings by viewing the Boarding Log and hovering your mouse over the Inspect button (explained in the FAQ above).

    You can also see exactly how many boarding offences and defences you have by viewing the Boarding section in the normal logbook.
