    Wondering why I see event chests on the water, but there is nowhere to buy keys for them...?

    Marauder Event has keys for cash only. If you had some left over from the previous event you could have used them.

    Ahoy Tergrinder!

    As your fellow pirate stated, the event keys are not available during marauder events (for in-game currency).

    This is not a bug.
