Gorejaw: Legend of the Abyss​

The Gorejaw: Legend of the Abyss event will start on Friday, 18th March at 00:01 and will run until Wednesday, 6th April at 23:59.

All times are local server times.

Gorejaw – Legend of the Abyss features the following:

• Base event with 4 event ships
• A new group map: Abyssal Descend
• 2 event rankings
• Quests: 17 normal quests and 3 daily quests
• Event chests
• Ship wrecks
• Event black market
• 4 new ship designs: Shark Angler, Fathom Fleeter, Abyss Master, Predator’s Predition
• 1 new pets: Smalljaw

General Info

During the Gorejaw – Legend of the Abyss event you can hunt the event ships Gorejaw’s Peon and Abyss Marauder on maps 5 - 50.

In addition to the normal spawn of Gorejaw’s Peon and Abyss Marauder they spawn also after a certain amount of them have been sunk:

• 4 Gorejaw’s Peon spawn after 5 Abyss Marauder have been sunk.
• 4 Abyss Marauder spawn after 5 Gorejaw’s Peon have been sunk.

Fester the Shark Caller spawns after a certain amount of Gorejaw’s Peon and Abyss Marauder have been sunk.

The Festival Cake spawns every 14 hours.

A new item, Abyssal Components can be collected as rewards from the event ships.

The Abyssal Components can be used to buy new action items in the in-game shop, which provide great advantages on the Abyssal Descend group map.

There is a stack limit of 1 for the new action items and they can just be used on the Abyssal Descend group map.

All event ships must be shot with elite ammunition.​

Ammunition

Confetti ammunition causes more damage against all event ships.​

NPCs

• Gorejaw’s Peon:
  • All players who inflict at least 2% damage receive Plato´s Coins or Ancient Emblems.
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives the Shark Angler or Plato´s Coins.
    • Fallback for the design is: Worldbreaker Cannon Level 1 Upgrade Recipe or Abyssal Components.
  • The player who does the last shot receives Solon´s Coins or Abyssal Components.
• Abyss Marauder:
  • All players who inflict at least 2% damage receive Solon´s Coins or Ancient Emblems.
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives the Fathom Fleeter or Solon´s Coins.
    • Fallback for the design is: Worldbreaker Cannon Level 1 Upgrade Recipe or Abyssal Components.
  • The player who does the last shot receives Plato´s Coins or Abyssal Components.
• Fester the Shark Caller:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP, Plato´s Coins, Solon´s Coins and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Safanad Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives the Abyss Master, Plato´s Coins or Solon´s Coins.
    • Fallback for the design is: Worldbreaker Cannon Level 1 Upgrade Recipe or Worldbreaker Cannon Level 2 Upgrade Recipe.
  • The player who does the last shot receives Solon´s Coins, Plato´s Coins or Abyssal Components.
• Festival Cake:
  • All players who inflict at least 1% damage receive 1 day Queens legacy.
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP, Plato´s Coins, Solon´s Coins and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Safanad Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage (but at least 5%) receives 1 day King´s Legacy.

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items like Confetti ammunition, Taureau Amulet, Simbi Amulet, Dragonfire level 2, Stone of Storms, Bloodlust, Unstoppable, Mojo, Painbringer cannons level 0 and other items.

Additionally, you receive Plato´s or Solon´s Coins.​

Shipwrecks

The Ship wrecks must be shot with harpoons. In the Ship wrecks you find many useful items like Confetti ammunition, Firestorm cannon level 3, Super Armor plates, Crystals, Abyssal Components and other items.​

Abyssal Descend (group map)

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the Abyssal Descend group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Jack Hawk and selecting the Group Map category.

After you choose the role you want to play and the team is full you are teleported to the Abyssal Descend group map.

In this map you have a minute time to activate special action items that you can get in the in-game shop. For those you need the Abyssal Components that some event ships drop.

The four items you can activate only in this minute are the following:

• Shark-Slayer Sigil
• Barracuda Emblem
• Abyssal Charm
• Clockwork Distributor

The “Clockwork Manufactory” gained through this item can only be used in this group map but is not limited to the first minute.

After this initial phase Gorejaw the Enraged will start fighting you.

After defeating Gorejaw the Enraged, you will be faced with an onslaught of Homing Seeker’s, which will travel towards you and deal damage to you and your allies in a close proximity when they reach you.

Be sure to either shoot them yourself or have a drone ready to deal with them!

Additionally Gorejaw will create 4 vortexes that travel over the map disturbing the seas and damaging your ships when you’re too close.

After avoiding these threats for a certain amount of time, Gorejaw will once again start attacking you, but this time you have to deal with both Gorejaw the Legend’s attacks, the Homing Seekers and the vortexes at the same time.

After defeating Gorejaw the Legend you will win the group map.​
