    Here is a link that explains the :

    League System

    A quick explanation is that you receive Elite Points for using pearl ammo. These points are used for a ranking in the League System. The league system is calculated across all servers but if you rank high enough you receive rewards. All is explained in the link I provided. If you have any questions after reading the link provided I will be happy to explain.
