The event starts at Thursday, October 1st at midnight and ends Tuesday, October 6th at 12 noon.

All times are local server times.

The Hunt for Dead October event features the following:

• 2 event ships (1 normal, 1 admiral)
• 1 quest chain with 2 normal quests and 4 daily quests
• Event ranking
• Event chests

General Info

The “Hunt of the dead October” is an upgraded spawn event where you can hunt two event ships, “Vial Collector” and “Dead October”, on maps 5 - 60.

“Vial Collector” drops “Poison vials” on death.

Attention: Collecting “Poison vials” can be dangerous!

“Dead October” is an admiral which spawn after a certain number of “Poison vials” have been collected.

All event ships must be shot with elite ammunition.

NPCs

• Vial Collector:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with:
    • Pearls, Crowns, Yulong coin or Safanad coin
    • Experience Points
  • The player who does the last shot have a chance to receive:
    • Marauder ammunition or Triton's Benevolence
• Dead October:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with:
    • Pearls, Crowns, Yulong coin, Safanad coin or Orichalkum
    • Experience Points
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will get (with at least 2% inflicted damage):
    • Elite Points
    • Red Dead October, Pearls or Pirate Glory
      • Fallback: The player who inflicts the most damage will get: Red Dead October
      • Fallback: The player who inflicts the most damage will get:
    • Possible Plague Debuff
    • Crowns, Stormforce, Dragon Powder or Asklepios’ Gift
  • The player who does the last shot receives (with at least 2% inflicted damage):
    • Red Dead October, Yulong coin, Safanad coin or Pirate Glory
      • Fallback: The player who does the last shot receives: Red Dead October

• Poison Vial:
  • You can get a buff, e.g. speed/cannon damage buff or a de-buff (Plague & Contagion Curse).
  • Also possible to drop an item package (with Crystals, Harpoons, Orichalkum, Mojos).
  • Small chance to drop Unstoppable.
  • Small chance for an epic win (Pearls).

Event Treasure Chests

In the event chests you find many useful items, like Marauder ammunition, Cobalt Gunpowder, Coated Armor Plates, Thunderbolt level 4, Thunderbolt level 5/6 Recipe, Poseidon’s Circlet and many other items.

Marauder Ammunition causes more damage against all event ships.​
