    the warning says as soon as things get warm it will melt.. is this true ?
    if i buy a whole lot theirs a chance it will melt away?

    In past versions of this Winter Thaw event, the ice ammo goes away at the end of the event, so make sure you don't buy any to keep for later.

    Ahoy Petrify~Luffy,

    As seen at the bottom of the Event FAQ you can see that at the end of the event, the ice ammunition will indeed "Melt" away and be exchanged for gold. This has been the case for many years now and is a tradition of sorts.

    My advice is that you do not worry too much but buy what you need ammunition-wise as throughout this event you can upgrade your ammunition to burning ice ammunition. So even if towards the completion of this event you still own quite a bit of Ice ammunition you may always turn it into Burning ice ammunition.
