is it possilbe to have 0/0 expansion slots?

    answer quite simple go into ships overview (ship mottif on top of main playing screen) click it then ship equipment on right side you see values click the right side of values (lines) and it will bring up cannon and beam slots all you have to do is purchase what you need

    Your fellow pirate is correct. An example of how you can purchase Expansion Slots can be seen at the bottom of the Ship Equipment section of the     Ship Overview bible entry.
