League of Captains -Escudos

Any chance of a box on Captains that shows how many Escudos the individual Captains have available?
(only tells you what you need at the mo!)

Escudos are like any other currency (one pool of currency) and the Escudos you have earned can be seen if you open up your currency menu. This can be done by clicking the down arrow in the upper left (by your pearls and gold) to view the currency dropdown. Or if you have the screen space, you can pop out the currency view to place it anywhere you wish on screen.

Yes, I know that but that is the total escudos of yer ship. How do you ascertain within Captains what each Captain has in the way of Escudos?

when opening a captain chest the escudos within it are not related to the captain obtained.

Each Captain Chest will provide you with 20 Escudos, and each Massive Captain Chest will provide you with 75 Escudos.

Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately not. Within the League of Captains you obtain 'Captains' who do additional quests while you continue with Game play. For these Captains they have to obtain Escudos to gain promotion. When you look to promote them the program shows how many quests they need to do (Captains Pier), Equipment needed and how many Escudos are required for the promotion to occur but not how many are required to complete the promotion. ie Karyn Winston shows that the amount of escudos gained when enough has been done but if a further quest was required the shortfall does not show to guide you ie 1800/2500

It each individual captain doesn't not need to obtain the escudo's themselves. You just need to have enough experience and escudo's on your ship under your current tab. If it shows 1800/2500 that means you need to have 1800 escudos on your ship to promote your captain. Each captain does not individually need to gain that amount. Does this help clear it up?

 

No, unfortunately not, my main game ship shows more than enough escudos to cover the amount totally required.
I fear we are talking at cross purposes.
As it happens I now have all of my Captains in the Captains Quarters having enough escudos.
Before that stage it only shows the total required in Red - without showing how close/how many you still needed to acquire to obtain the final quantity. Hence my example above of 1800/2000 meaning that 200 more were required like in many other stats in the main game-the only actual stat that figures under 'To promote you need' is the total 2000.

As per the FAQ, the escudos required for promotion is only a cost (from the Escudos on your ship). It is not required for an individual captain to earn that much. Please see the Bible post below. Also please post screenshots of your currencies and the captain you are attempting to promote.

Nimitz, what you have put above I am fully aware of. When you are collecting escudos the Promotion box shows you the total of escudos required ie 2000. But at no stage in the collection process does it show how many you have collected ie First quest is 78 escudo which leaves you 1922 to get it only ever shows 2000 in red then turns green when you get the total req'd.

Apologies, I am trying to understand the question still. Are you saying that if you have 1500 total escudos on your ship, and you need 2000 to promote the captain, you wish for the box to show 1500/2000 instead of green or red?
