    while I recognize that it is random..it sure would be nice if the map required to do scroll maps was a little easier to aquire. Also...upgrading equipment seems really difficult to me. I guess I am just brain dead from the last few pathetic events.

    You're not the only one having trouble with it. I ended up losing more than I gained by trying to upgrade equipment.
