    USA East 40/26467540 havent been able to use the light all this week it keeps telling me it cant be used at this time

    They deactivated it until the development of it finishes. Noone can use it these days.

    Your fellow pirate is correct. The Light of Tortuga has been deactivated until the rework will be ready for release.

    From the release day Light of Tortuga will change it "abilities" completely, you can read more about the changes here ->     Light of Tortuga
