Little guy doesn't stand much if any of a chance

The game has not changed since the revamp. The little guy doesn't stand much of a chance when he hits for 31k and other more advanced players hit for 450-500k. The problem is half the server is at war with the other half so joing a guild doen't help at all because everyone is at war. So I will have to be content with logging on, collect my daily login bonus and collecting the 3 quests from the Arbiter, of which I now have 462 Rift emblems and logging off. Very difficult if not impossible to even glitter hunt without being sunk multiple times. It is no wonder you don't see many new players on here.

 

They do have pve servers, but you would have to start over. Just something for you to think about maybe. good luck.

 

I under stand your problem . I do not have the money to invest in the game to get the best equipment. My best boat is level 25. but it has screen doors in the hull. Sunk more then afloat.

 

I know the feeling....I have spent so far $200 and I am only a level 20 and can hit with P ammo for 31k while I am being sunk by players that hit for 450-500k....Seriously, how many small boats do you see on the game? Not many if any. As for starting over, I already have money invested in this on so I am not willing to move to the PVE server and start over so I will continue to do as stated above.

I can't agree with this part of your msg.

Game has changed and it is a lot easier right now than it used to be.

Now you've got an option to get some VooDoo Cannon's for free just from lvling up!

There's Firestorm/Devastator/Voodoo/Doomhammer cannons as a reward for log-in milestone with we didnt had in past (it used to be 200 pearls and 1 crystal!). On top of that from time to time you can get some booty bag's and special gem's - i know it aint +28% cannon damage but free stuff is free stuff am I right?

You sayin that jumping into a guild is pointless because they fight eachother - hold on... we play seaFIGHT right? Nobody told us it will be easy to start, it takes time and a lot of courage to get yourself to the point where you want to be - still being tagless means everyone are allowed to sink you yup?

Jumping into a guild would at least decrease the amount of people that want to sink you isnt this right? On top of that you may find some good friends and have a lot of giggles while being in one right? Belive me if it wasnt for guild and friends ive made through years I would be gone from here few years ago.

Right now theres an option to get Worldbreaker cannons (2nd best in game so far, who knows what future will bring us) from Season.
I think you are able to do some simple tasks, even if that mean gaining only 10-20 cannons that always improve your ship right?

Kruchy, oh I remember the day when you had to find an HP glitter before you could level up after being sunk as I was a charter player back when it first started. I remember players like peanut, flea, Newfie and many, many others. And yes you are correct being in a guild is better than not being in a guild, but back in those days NO ONE was hitting for 450-500k. In fact if you hit for 100k you had "a ship". Being a level 20, I have one more level for free cannons (10). Then nothing. I quit playing back then due to the bots and cheaters. I was warned when I first joined a guild thru TeamSpeak by other players to just buy a boat because it would take forever to build a ship from scratch......and they were right, even though I already have $200 invested in the ship, I should have taken their advise and bought a ship from a player......at least then I or any other player would have a fighting chance.

 

you could not even fire elite ammo in the old days, a lot better for the new smaller ships now. you won't be fighting against big ships if you won't use money.

 

you won't be fighting against big ships if you won't use money. ????? Once you lose your newbie protection you are cannon fodder for the bigger ships. And I remember firing elite ammo once I was able to obtain elite cannons. You also had a variety of ammo below hollows....not saying that was better. The game is structured to make you spend money if you want to grow and compete. Before ite was pearls, pearls and more perals. Now it's pearls, crowns and crystals. I can understand wanting to make money, but now Bigpoint is owned by Youzu Interactive Co, Ltd, a chinese based company. *Edit*
