Love is in the New Year​

The event starts at 12 noon on 10th February and ends at 12 noon on 17th February.

All times are local server times.

The Love is in the New Year event features following:

• 6 event ships (3 normal, 1 minion, 2 admirals)
• 7 event quests (3 normal, 4 daily)
• 1 new Design: “Metal Ox”
• 1 event ranking
• Event chests
• Shipwrecks
• Vengeful Shipwrecks
• Event black market (In the in-game shop)

General Info

Love is in the New Year is a combination of the Valentines and Chinese New Year events.
Screaming Dragon, Romeo and Juliet can be found on maps 5 to 45.
Shipwrecks can be found on the maps 5 to 45.
Vengeful Shipwrecks can be found on the maps 31 to 45.
Screaming Dragon spawns Lantern of Deaths on its death (de-spawn after 1 minute), Romeo spawns Poison vials on its death and Juliet spawns Dagger on its death.
Metallox and Goldox are admiral ships which spawn after a certain amount of Screaming Dragons (for Metallox), Juliet and Romeo (for Goldox) have been sunk.

All event ships be shot with elite ammunition.​

NPC Rewards

• Screaming Dragon:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives Gold, Dragonfires level 2 or the Lucky Dragon design. The player receives also Gudai reputation when she/ he has more than 150 Gudai reputation.
• Lantern of Deaths:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict (at least 20%) you are rewarded with Crystals and with a small chance with Crowns or Yulong Coins.
• Romeo / Juliet:
  • All players who inflict at least 10% damage receive Lovers reputation.
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict (at least 2%) you are rewarded with EXP.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives Pearls, Lovers reputation or Forgotten Love and has a small chance to receive the one of the following designs: Black Rose, Capulet or Pegasus' Pride.
• Dagger:
  • There is a chance to receive Cabin Boys, Ogoun Amulet, Skyfire, Heartbreaker ammunition, Agwes Armor plate, Forgotten Love, Crystals and Pearls or Crowns.
• Poison Vial:
  • There is a chance to receive Cabin Boys, Ogoun Amulet, Skyfire, Kraken poison ammunition, Agwes Armor plate, Forgotten Love, Crystals and Pearls or Crowns.
• Metallox:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict (at least 1%) you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives Gold, Golden Hound, Razorback, Mighty Rodent or Dragonfires level 2.
  • The player who does the last shot (at least 1%) has a chance to receive Worldbreaker Cannon Level 0 recipe, Worldbreaker Cannon Level 1 recipe, Worldbreaker Cannon Level 2 recipe or the new design Metal Ox.
• Goldox:
  • All players who inflict at least 1% damage receive depending on their Lovers and Gudai reputation following:
    • Gudai reputation >=150 < 400: Worldbreaker cannon level 3, Worldbreaker cannon level 3 recipe, Worldbreaker cannon level 2, Worldbreaker cannon level 0 or the new design Metal OX.
    • Lovers reputation >=150 < 400: Lost Love, Forgotten Love, Tritons Crown or Worldbreaker cannon level 0.
    • Gudai reputation >= 400: Worldbreaker cannon level 4 recipe, Worldbreaker cannon level 3, Worldbreaker cannon level 3 recipe or the new design Metal Ox.
    • Lovers reputation >= 400: Capricorn bonus map, Sagittarius bonus map, Cancer bonus map, Chi-Chi sticks, Worldbreaker cannon level 1 recipe or ELP booster.
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict and how much Lovers reputation you have, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns or Yulong Coins and with a small chance Mighty Rodent.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage receives Pearls.

Event Treasure Chests

In the event chests, you can find many useful items, like Flare ammunition, Kraken poison ammunition, Heartbreaker ammunition, Painbringer Cannons Level 0, Lebga and Simbi amulets, Triton’s benevolence, Dragonfires, Whirlpool, Dead Man’s Rope, Imperial Talcum and other items. ​

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with Harpoons. Items such as Firestorm Cannons Level 2, Flare ammunition, Kraken poison ammunition, Heartbreaker ammunition and Crystals can be obtained if you inflict the most damage.​

Vengeful Shipwrecks

The Vengeful shipwrecks must be shot with Harpoons. Crowns, Yulong Coins, Contact and Homing mines and Lost Love can be obtained if you inflict the most damage.​

Ammunition

Flare ammunition causes more damage against Screaming Dragon, Lantern of Death and Metallox.
Heartbreaker ammunition causes more damage against Juliet and Goldox.
Kraken poison ammunition causes more damage against Romeo and Goldox.​

The daily quests are reset each day at 12 noon (local server time).​
